  1. N I C E Idea! Ill have to check that out this night! Cool Idea. Also should be pretty quick to set up
  2. 1700 wont help for gaming (Now). 2600(x) yeha but isnt that sort of the same as the 1600AF?
  3. Have checked, sadly no. Those OEM boxes are to new to already have been ripped apart
  4. to xxxpensive. Verry limited budget here and the 3500 is OEM only
  5. Thruth... and Zen2 should even have a bit better perf than the 7700k... but I am a bit worried about the future
  6. I am a full on Noctua fan(boy ) but need some advice on decent RGB fans as I am building a system where the person who its for is a RGB nerd... So yeha anything from 10-20€ will be nice and dRGB is a must and it cant be to loud. Thanks!
  7. I am currently piecing together a little sub 1k€ gaming box for a friend of mine. B450, Cheap SSD, 5500XT and a... 1600AF or a 3300x (when it arrives) I am tempted to go 1600AF for the future benefit of more cores. Games played are everything basically and beyond that basic usage but maybe some light 3D modelling, but MAYBE. Budget for 3600x? Sadly no So yeha your opinions please, thanks!
  8. If higher budget is available and its about video editing CPU first. So 3600x is a good idea!
  9. take a look at our list. There are dencent units for cheap nowadays!
  10. I have build 5 pcs with that board. Everything works perfectly. His mom WONT want to OC and fiddle around with the BIOS. For normal operation: Update to latest version and done
  11. Thats what I was saying at the beginning. and yeha please trust him. He is one for our PSU boss guys
  12. decently ventilated? I doubt that.... do you have sources for that? But yea it looks nice! MSI A Pro Max is only like 5$ more and well worth it for future upgradability (more PCIe etc)
  13. Why this case, why mATX? Get a Crucial P2 same price but faster Besides this: nice!
  14. So no gaming at all? Need for storage of the video clips?
  15. I can only agree with the guys posting above. If you have a bit of money for it idd recommend getting a new platform. Get a 3200G with 16GB of ram or something. But yeha for 720 low get another 8GB stick and done
  16. Or what about Industrial PPC NF A14? More silent at same CFM than the Be Quiet but you can do 2000RMP wich you will NEVER need in a PSU and are LOUD
  17. Y E S Get a 5700 Red Dragon or Pulse superb cards for the $$
  18. Voltage regulation, ripple, stability, longevity, safety, efficiency, ... I guess it will be ok. The CFMs are at max speed. Running the Noc at max isnt that loud. Or get a A14 that moves more but will have to be louder to get the pressure going
  19. RX? I could not find that one. Did you mean RM? But yeha it can operate at 120 and 240V no problem. The plug at the PSU is always the same.
  20. Yes thats what I meant! I guess you should not go to much over the power draw of the original fan. But especially noctuas are pretty efficient. SO that should be fine.
  21. 2 wire fan on mobo: yes you do, because the mobo will do collage regulation. Normal PC fans run at 12V, MOBO will drop that down to reduce the RPM. And yes thats lees precise. So yeha the PSU could also be doing that. NF A12 with a bracket performs better than NF A14 on a rad. Thats also something where you need static pressure. But ok then get a NF A14 to utilize the space. NF A12: OK please show me a better alrounder fan than it. Pure Wings: To less pressure or jet takeoff mode But yeha either way: Idd get a new PSU. Perfect opportunity to get something decent!
  22. oh okay, isnt that a bit loud? If nothing helps maybe good old 212 evo or something along those lines?
  23. SSD will make even this PC feel like its on nitro To state again what was already said here: PSU and AFTER this Mobo/CPU/RAM. I know spending on a new PSU wont give you any performance BUT will be guaranteed stable with the modern chips and not be a fire risk. GPU is perfectly fine but overpowered for the rest of the system
