Ok, so it depends on the resolution you scale to. So if I scale to quad HD on an HD monitor, the impact wouldn't be that much?
  2. Yeah I am. In fact this is my very first PC I'm building so I'll stick with the SC. Thanks

I saw the linus tech tips video about super-sampling and was wandering how much of an impact does this take on the graphics card?
  4. So let's say I plan on overclocking in the future (I'm not like an enthusiast overclocker really) which card would you say would be the better choice?
  5. Does that mean the SC isn't good for overclocking? I won't be overclocking for some time, but I do still plan on overclocking later on.
  6. Maybe, but how does that change between the SC and FTW?
  7. I'm trying to decide which gtx graphics card to go for and when looking at the evga SC and FTW, the main difference seems to be the ftw has a custom PCB and higher factory clock. Would it be better to simply go for the SC and overclock it if I need more power?
  8. Yeah, it's looking more and more like that's my best option
  9. Ok thanks for the advice. Also, I wouldn't take the article too lightly

  11. Really. the customer service right now is probably the deal breaker of which card I pick.
  12. Speaking from experience? or is that sarcasm
  13. Currently on the market for a gtx 1080. I was thinking of going with EVGA SC or FTW, but after the overheating VRAM incident, I'm a bit hesitant. So I'm looking at my alternatives (which are MSI Gaming X or Asus strix). I've dealt with MSI customer service before and had no problems. However, I keep hearing some mixed reviews of Asus. In fact it seems they are known to have poor customer service. Just wanted to know if it's that bad.
