  1. I still try to play Destiny 2 "daily", well, in very low doses. More like, logging in, checking if there is anything happening (usually not) and quitting. I'm one of those who haven't been burned out by Destiny 1, only played in the very beginning, maybe a month or so, so I don't have that "baggage", but still, after a certain point, after finising the campaign and reaching certain power?? level, I have just felt totally meh towards Destiny 2 (here's hoping they will give us something decent with the DLC or something). I try to play, like said, but it just feels there is little to no reward in doing so, and then on top of that Bungie seems to fucking up something new every week (and on purpose as well). I noticed the Lost Sector chest thing myself, thinking I encountered a bug or something, just to find out a bit later it was intended like that. D2, a game that punishes you for playing (your own way?)??? I mean, I get that they don't want the loot cave issue to come up (again?), but basically telling those few people, who are actually still playing; sorry you are playing the game "wrong" and now we are going to punish you for doing so, is a bit absurd.
  2. I don't know if they offer it for free anymore, but I believe at the time, when Ryzen launched, they said to contact them and they would send you the corresponding parts that would allow it to work with AM4 platform, if you had bought Ryzen. I'm running a small test now actually just to see how it performs at the moment, and I can say a game such as Assassin's Creed: Origins, which hammers your CPU, I can't reach 60C on any of the cores (with pretty much 100% utilization), according to Afterburner anyway.
  3. It is definitely on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for, plus it has a 6 year warranty with it, if I remember correctly, so you get that as an added bonus. Also, in all the benchmarks that I've seen it is either equal or outperforms many of the water-cooled solutions (or at least it did, when I was deciding which one to get). If I remember correctly, Noctua offered a free upgrade kit, if you had Ryzen. And yeah, it is super easy to install.
  4. I had to buy a new cooler for my 3770K back along, beacuse my temps got to ridiculous numbers for some reason and even though I haven't overclocked it at all (it boosts up to nearly 4 on its own??) I went with what Dragonheart mentioned in his post. Absolutely brilliant cooler and if your case has room for it, I would definitely recommend. Temps keep really cool usually, and overclocking, if I ever needed/wanted to, would be really easy with lots of room to do so.
  5. How is that working for you? My AI Suite II started throwing server exception errors after the update, but I didn't want to go mess around with III, even though the (current) beta version seems to have solved the problem for some.
  6. I went with the Dell one in the end, I had actually previously already had a look at it, but hadn't decided anything at that point. Stayed nearly in my predicted budget as well (nearly :D). I definitely wanted to get a G-Sync monitor to go with my 1080 Ti though, because I did quite a bit of research on it, and thought, well I have a Ti now, so I need a monitor to match it as well in that sense. Just waiting for it to arrive now, should be only couple of days and then I will have pretty much what I wanted. I'm guessing its going to be a huge difference from gaming at 60Hz on 24" without G-Sync, compared to 144Hz, 27" and G-Sync.
  7. Yeah, true. I misread it, saying about shipping in Jan 2018. But do they even deliver outside NA?
  8. I had a look a that one, looks really impressive, especially at that price point. I don't think its available yet though, so I might visit that at a later date. Thanks anyway for reminding me of it.
  9. Which one is that? This, XB271HUA? I haven't really been able to try out the GPU too much yet, literally put it in late last night and ran few benchmarks, but I'm hoping to get into some 1080 Ti goodness very soon Thanks for the all fast replies guys, I had actually been looking at some of those already. And yeah, I already have a 24" monitor, so I just want to go at least tiny bit bigger, 27" would be fine. Has anyone got any experiences with AOC monitors? Or Iiyama? Are all those Free sync actually?
  10. I have been looking for a new monitor for a while actually, but now I definitely want to get a new one, seeing as my wife got me a GTX 1080 Ti (a very nice ROG Strix OC at that) as a combined Birthday/Christmas present I would just like some ideas what to get. Three things I would like the monitor to "have"; 1. More than 1080p (In case of ultra-wide possibly still?) 2. Higher than 60Hz 3. More than 24" I don't mind if its an ultra-wide or not. My budget would ideally be around £500, or under, but possibly willing to go tiny bit over as well (I don't want to get recommended a monitor that costs around £1000 or so mind). Just in case the £ doesn't give it away, I live in the UK. I would also like to add/ask, seeing as I have GTX 1080 Ti, would getting a free sync monitor be silly at this point? Or should I be specifically looking at G-Sync ones? Does it matter that much?
  11. Funny that my W10 is still running even without the Creators Update, because something went wrong with it, and it doesn't even prompt me about it. I know you could do the update manually, but I heard that some people had big problems after doing that, so I didn't bother. I still have this text greet me, when I open my Windows Update page: Good news! The Windows 10 Creators Update is on its way. Want to be one of the first to get it? Anyhoo, hoping this new update resolves the problem with the previous one.
  12. And just to say to this as well, no problems with the placement, it doesn't have to be accurate at all (with the Nokia 820s' nor Lumia 950s'). The phone can be moved (accidently) during the charging, and it doesn't get interrupted. Also, having the phone on an angle or only partially on the plate doesn't affect the charging either.
  13. I have to disagree with you there. My wife and myself have been using wireless charging for years (first with Nokia 820s', which both were solely charged using wireless charging) and now with Lumia 950s', and in both instances we've had 0 issues with it. The charging has happened just as you would think and hope it would, place the phone on the charging pad, and it starts charging. Very simple, and definitely works. Charging speed is good as well.
  14. Is this really confirmed, because I for one thought it was bad enough to have 4 core CPUs on x299, but this, if true... what in the actual fuck? Plus, I thought that with Ryzens' appearance we would finally move on towards an age without dual cores, even from Intel, sigh...
