I talked with my dad about it and he hasn't given me a specific budget but he said that he would only buy an original copy of Windows as he has contacts with microsoft to get it for dirt cheap anyways, and he also was interested by AMD's new cpus as well. So I think all I need to do now is a shed tone of reasearch. Ty for your help and everyone else's. I deeply appreciate it, from the bottom of my heart... Thank you!

Well then there's nothing better than an external capture card like that, so you either use that or you don't stream at all

Yeah... no.  Not really.  Again, unless you get really lucky on ebay with an old desktop.  The Pi is surprisingly powerful and you listed needs as storage and Web server.  It will do that.  If you envisage other needs, be more precise.

Also, the Pi will likely be on a constant upgrade curve while it remains as popular as it currently is, and it's ARM architecture is only going to improve over time.  So once in a while you'll upgrade by buying the latest Pi.  Way less hassle than other options.

HOw about a old dell optiplex on craigslist or ebay. You can get a core 2 duo for that price and about 2gb of ram. Then get a few of those old 2tb hdds on ebay for 40 bucks a popl
