When I was a kid we use to mess with teachers computers by re-writing autoexec.bat. Make it print out 1000 lines on the printer or ascii art on every boot. that was good how DOS had poor access controls

i had a scammer from microsoft call me because my computer had a virus so i entertained her by pretending to be a noob. i just described the contents of pornhub and pretended i didn't know how to get off the site or close my browser. i left the phone next to the computer speaker with a video playing. when i came back they had hung up

Ok mains power you need a license to build an appliance. If not you must live in developing country.

most hot plated use mineral insulated elements.
so inner core is a high temp alloy, I believe it has nickel or tungsten but I'm not 100% sure of its make up.
this is coated in a ceramic
this is then coated in another metal I am not sure exactly what the metal is.
this allows heat transfer with electrical isolation. It is also why they take longer to heat than an induction/glass top stove. This is also why they break easily. The manufacturing process is not great so under Aus/nz regulations they get more leniency for resistance to earth.

if you want to build a heater that is not illegal then look up peiltier coolers. You should be able to run it off a battery. In my country It's only illegal to build stuff when it's connected to the mains

I am actually licensed in nz so do not tell me what is legal when it is not. Like I said you must be in a developing country to be allowed to build an appliance without license. In a country with standards, anything that connects to mains must comply and go through a safety check by a licensed worker.

Why use TOR? because you're a pedophile who lives in 2013.
It has many vulnerabilities which are being released every day from USA's cyber arsenal leaks.
TOR will not protect your privacy if the ISP you use is connected to your home address, CC, or bank.
The authorities run their own nodes, darknet servers, and take over the ones they bust.
Its better to promote a VPN service for privacy than attract the attention of hackers and authorities on the TOR network.
Write a TOR tutorial if you want but, theres already plenty and by the time you have finished writing, it will be outdated.

"Turnip" is not a bad idea. People might get lost but it would avoid the daily poll that gets started about which linux distro is best.
i think it could just be called "NOT Windows systems"
    I voted for Turnip.

Saw this on part picker for a phanteks CPU cooler. I'm not sure if their English is the greatest. I don't think any cooler could save a CPU from a plastic shim

I love this product, even when I made the mistake of leaving the sticker on my heatsink and placing it over the CPU with the thermal paste, I would get temps of 100C before it would reach 100% but if it wasn't for this Phanteks cooler my CPU would have melted.

Above is a conversation about cables, if the computers have gigabit nics, or were made in the last 10 years then there is a high chance you can just connect them direct with a cable.
After connecting cable, assign each NIC manually an ip in the same subnet. e.g.
    192.168.10.1/24 and
    192.168.10.2/24
    Then, if you are using windows you can use Windows built-in file sharing;
if you are using linux or bsd you can use rsync.
You can use rsync in windows too but i dont want to explain that.

    pihole
Iv been using it for about two weeks. works a lot better than any browser plugin because it covers all devices. I keep adnauseum running because it's icon tells me how many ads it is blocking. In two weeks pi-hole has let through 100 adverts that were caught by adnauseum, but when I look into adnauseum's ad-vault, the "ads" are just normal pictures from facebook.
Before you ask pi-hole does not appear to be blocking ads on youtube, but youtube has been pretty good lately at removing ads with its adpocolypse anyway.

keep Kali on a live cd. its sucks installed. If there is software you like in this distribution you will find you can get it in ubuntu/debian.

Common process for multiboot is to install windows first, then your other systems, then ubuntu last as it will autodetect all other systems.
look up the grub entry in debian wiki for instructions on how to manually add systems.

It is more practical to put androidx86 on usb drive.
