  1. It all comes down to what you want/need, if you want bigger monitor then go for ultrawide but if you want better colors and higher resolution on a smaller screen then I would say go for 4K. My experience with 4K monitors are very limited since I have never had one, I have only tried them in a local store. You'll experience the black bars with ultrawide while watching Youtube videos since most of the videos are 16:9 but nowadays you'll still find more and more videos that are 21:9, same goes for movies, most of the movies are 16:9 but most of the new movies are 21:9. I would go for the ultrawide myself just because bigger screen area to work on. Good luck!
  2. I would recommend these monitors and you could also consider going for ultrawide monitors if you want a bigger monitor then 27''. Asus MX27AQ Size: 27'' Panel Type: AH-IPS (Same as normal IPS) Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 5ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Dell U2715H Size: 27'' Panel Type: IPS Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 4ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Note: There are two kinds of Dell U2715H one with 16:9 and the other one is 16:10 Dell UP2716D Size: 27'' Panel Type: IPS Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 6ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Samsung S27D850T Size: 27'' Panel Type: PLS (Works in the same way as IPS ) Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 5ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9
  3. If you want 144 Hz it'll be quite hard to find a decent monitor with 150£ they start around 200£. I wouldn't recommend going for a curved monitor unless you're getting a ultrawide since you're on a budget. I found some monitors around 200£ with either 144 Hz or Curved, Acer GN246HLB, AOC G2460PF and Samsung C27F591. With that being said I would highly recommend saving some more money and then buy a bit higher priced monitor, some of these maybe Asus MG248Q, BenQ Zowie XL2411 or Asus VG248QE
  4. It doesn't really matter the difference between all the companies aren't noticeable, I would say it all comes down to own preference and what kind of colors you want in your build. I myself got the Asus Strix one and I have been satisfied with it so. Good luck with your graphics card purchase.
  5. What's the budget for both monitors together if I may ask?
  6. No problem, glad I could help, just ask if you've got any questions.
  7. With a 1070 I would recommend going for 1440p but then the price would start from 400$ but I found some monitors under 350$ that you can take a look at. Dell P2717H, Dell U2415H, Asus MX25AQ (2560x1440p),
  8. It all comes down to own preference how close to the monitor you want to sit, personally I don't want to sit too close to the monitor. You could of course listen to all the health care organisations and what they prefer but I would say if you're going for 34'' then you should have the monitor close enough so you can see from edge to edge without moving your head.
  9. There are a lot of monitors out there that I could recommend but I would need a budget to help me pick out the right one for you.
  10. The Dell S2716DG is a really good high quality monitor the only issue I would say is that it has an TN panel which I personally don't like. There are a lot of monitors I could suggest for you but I would have to know what specs you would like in your monitor like do you want 144Hz, 1ms or 4ms, IPS etc.
  11. I would say it's all depending on what kind of games you play the most, if you're into cs:go, Minecraft or overall games that you'll be able to push 144 fps then go for the 144 Hz but if you're into more "heavy weighted" games like Grand theft auto V, Battlefield 1 etc. then you won't be able to push 144 fps so you'll get screen tearing and for that reason I would recommend going for the 75 Hz monitor
  12. If you've got a 1080 I would without doubt go for the 1440p 144Hz, with a card like that you'll be able to push +70 fps in 90% of all the games that you'll be playing. I've got a 1070 and I can play all games I own over 60fps easily and I have a Asus PG279Q. If you're going for 1080p it's kinda a waste to get a high end graphics card. You do not have to worry about games not reaching 60fps you'll be able to output 60fps for sure. Dishonored 2 is bad optimized at the moment they're going to optimize it soon so you can'y really use that game as an example. You should look at reviews at Battlefield 1, Grand theft auto V or overall games that are good optimize. TL;DR Go for 1440p 144hz a GTX 1080 is perfect.
  13. If you don't have a budget I could recommend these monitors Acer XB271HU, Dell S2716DG and Asus PG279Q. I have the Asus one myself and I have been really satisfied quite expensive but worth it's price for sure!
  14. Most of the cheaper 144Hz is between £200 - 300 but this is the cheapest one I found, no idea if it's even worth buying. Acer GN246HLB you could save up some money to 250 - £300 then you would get a decent one.
  15. I would recommend these monitors Asus MX27AQ Size: 27'' Panel Type: AH-IPS (Same as normal IPS) Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 5ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Dell U2715H Size: 27'' Panel Type: IPS Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 4ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Note: There are two kinds of Dell U2715H one with 16:9 and the other one is 16:10 Dell UP2716D Size: 27'' Panel Type: IPS Refresh Rate: 60Hz Resolution: 2560x1440p Response Time: 6ms (Gray to Gray) Aspect Ratio: 16:9
