    Yeah the splitter would be the solution. But the main question is, why did they - the motherboards, not have a built-in combo jack?

    I know but I only have this combined earphones and I can only use either of the functions, not both.

    You know, the jack for mobile earphones. The rear side of my rig faces directly at me and I can't help thinking about it. I only have this retro CX5.00G and my allowance is tight so I can't afford a proper headset (side note: I'm Asian) Also I'm new to the community and this is actually my first post :^)
