Try waiting for zen an i3 is OK but a true quad core would be significantly better 

See what happens with zen and consider your options then unless you absolutely have to have Intel zen is definitely worth considering

Any of Toshiba, WD and Seagate are usually fine and if you want to go for the budget friendly just find the cheapest 1tb drives from any of them but if you want the best then pick up a 1tb WD black
