  1. Usually not, if the machine turned back on it is all ok, just try not to do it again
  2. Yes, it will short the machine. Do your "repairs" with the machine powered off, battery disconnected and free of any residual (left over) power. Let me know if you have any questions
  3. It depends, I had a garrys mod server for a few years which was quite popular, never had any concerns of copyright infringement. The best way however is to provide an ingame browser which the user can access YT from, not a browser that they can only access YT from. Hope this helps
  4. Are you running the correct version of windows? (32/64 bit)

  6. Hey, you want to go to your adapter settings and confirm that wifi is enabled. If you're unsure of how to do this, have a quick search on youtube for "enable wireless adapter" or something similar.
  7. Ring Telstra, ask for a ipv4 static address. Try an IP release and renew then reboot your router first.
  8. I agree holey with bughtoo, you may benefit from an ssd but it will degrade quickly. Consider maybe a 10k NAS SATA drive?
  9. Hi, i work for an ISP and am a home user so i can hopefully answer your questions. If you're on some sort of DSL line (ADSL/SDSL/VDSL) you can connect your new router/modem to the incoming line. If youre on fibre/NBN you will likely be able to do the same thing. The only time you will may be restricted by your ISP as to what modem you can use is if you're a business customer. If thats the case, look into Mac Address spoofing for your particular model. You just need your internet connection details (PPPoE email/password). You should have these in an email from your ISP, if not you can ring them and get them. Let me know if you have any further questions.
  10. a bit of feedback, overall its a nice looking website. Your footer is broken on my device. A better way to implement an effective, responsive footer is to create a div and do the styling via a stylesheet. here is an example of what i mean. <div id="footer">Generic footer information</div> What this looks like in the CSS side of things #footer { clear:both; background: #333; line-height: 22px; text-align: center; font-size: 15px; color: #999; margin: auto; width: 85%; bottom: 0; height: auto; border-radius: 3px; position: fixed; } Obviously the CSS would need to be changed to reflect your website however it is a good starting point for a responsive footer which ive found to work quite well.
  11. Ensure that the PC allows remote connections and has the folder shared to the network. You'll also need to confirm that the account you're creating has folder permissions. (right click the shared folder and confirm that it's actually shared and that your newly created account can access it)
  12. Hi, what kind of games would you like to play? eg can you get the game on the console only or console and PC? will you have some friends to play with on the PS4 or the PC? Just some things to think of
