  1. Thanks for the help. I did some research although, some of them which you already sent me are way too sketchy to try. They require some weird stuff to download and they are really untrustful. Like look at the second link's video, this guy has bots in his Youtube video to commentt that it worked. Either way, I tried the EMSISOFT Decryptor but it doesn't seem to find any key to decrypt them. Are there any other TRUSTED ways I can try?
  2. Well aparently it didn't. Tried all of them and only the last one (Xorist) seems to be "doing" something, like it's scanning all the files. The rest would not even recognize the file type. I'll let you know if it comes out with anything.
  3. I just uploaded some screenshots in case that seems like a familiar virus or category. Can I also just try all the tools on the website you sent me? I searched the internet but it doesn't seem to be many information about it.
  4. I do not know, but I know what site caused it and which download. I know little about malwares and anti-viruses did not help decrypt them either. Hoped Avast could maybe have a decryption tool or something. I uploaded a photo of what my files looked like before the format.
  5. Hello, My PC has been recently infected with some kind of malware, which instantly encrypted all my files on the PC to a weird .ehiz extension which cannot be opened and left with a note to visit a site and pay to unlock them. Since I had no control over my PC, randomly restarting, changing wallpapers etc, I went ahead and totally wiped and formatted my drive C to restore it. I obviously lost whatever was on C, but I didn't format my second hard drive, just in case I can decrypt those files which are very very very important to me. So, once I landed on my fresh new installation of windows, they still appear to be "locked" and under the .ehiz extension, which I couldn't get rid of. The question is, can I somehow restore their state and decrypt them? Thanks for your time and available to any questions!
  6. Appreciated! Also, don't forget that I already have a case, so it's excluded (-34.98) I'm just sceptical as to how an Athlon3000G performs compared to a Pentium G5400 (and we also fall a lot out of price range).
  7. Not an option given the current circumstances. The only open stores are the retail ones for delivery-only.
  8. Haha, no it's not poker but it has to do with bans that I occasionally get for using third party programs.
  9. Hello everyone, As of the latest updates due to the pandemic, I've settled at my parents house and probably will stay here for the next month or so. That being said, I'll need to build a low-end PC that can do basic decent browsing and some really soft gaming. BUDGET: 200-225€ GOAL: Basic browsing, Games: League of Legends at Mid Settings would be nice. NOTES: I don't care about upgradeability, I want it for 30 days/year that I live here. CASE EXCLUDED (I'll use an old one). COUNTRY: Greece So, my Option #1: PSU: Coolermaster Elite V3 300W - 37,90€ CPU: Intel Pentium G5400 - 59,30€ Mobo: ASRock H110M-HDS R3.0 - 50,90€ RAM: Random single stick 8GB 2400 - 36,50€ SSD: WESTERN DIGITAL 250GB - 53,40€ GPU: Intel HD 610 - TOTAL: 238€ Let me know your suggestions!
  10. That's extremely weird and shouldn't really happen. I personally haven't experienced something like that and it seems kinda sketchy. Well, you found a way around the problem, not really the solution since you disabled the "Low Latency Mode". Anyway, I would suggest you do a fresh new installation of the latest EVGA version (or even replace it with another monitoring program out there). Let me know if my answer helped you, Vally.
  11. Hello forum, To better visualise my situation, I'll start by explaining why I need such a software. I'm currently playing a game, where the server keeps your IP & MAC Adress of your client. For a number of reasons, I need to assign different combinations of IP & Mac Adresses, to different active clients. Software I tried so far Proxifier : A free (or paid) software that, based on a proxy list you provide, can assign different IP addresses to clients/windows that you choose. I managed therefore to have several windows open with different IP addresses each, but the issue isn't fixed. All windows had the same MAC address (of the adapter). Technitium Mac ddress Changer : This program can easily change and randomise the MAC address of the internet adapters on your PC with a single hit. Although, the problem still persists. I could easily getaway with fast-swap of the Mac Adresses (instead of going through the Windows and changing it), but still I couldn't assign different MAC addresses to active windows. One possible solution, would be to run different VMs for every client/window that I want to be open. Although, in this case I'm running out of hardware resources, as that would require a lot of ram, CPU and GPU power (don't forget that I'm talking about an open game, not an open browser window,etc..). So, to sum up, is there any software out there that can do me the job? Let me know if my request was not clear and I'll try to explain better.

    ISP recognition

Yes, which goes to the splitter and then to the telephone line in the wall.

I changed to this modem, after the first one from my ISP was a total crap.

Well I never implied I'm a network expert or anything. That's why my terminology is bad and you might find my questions silly.

    ISP recognition

Okay I kinda get how it works, but for example in my case, when I changed modem and started to set it up, I automatically connected to my ISP without even mentioning that I changed. What I understand from that is that my telephone line is attached to my account and not the serial number and mac address of my modem. So basically, in the future if I change ISP, then the previous one will delete my record and the new one will add it to my account and add bandwith to this line and not to my modem.

    ISP recognition

Yeah I figured that out. Tried out a VPN and it does change your ISP name, although you don't get to profit from the speeds of the ISP of course.

    ISP recognition

Yeah I actually did a few tuning on my router to check that out and it doesn't work iif I change it manually. What I get out of this, is that internet bandwith is sent over the internet switcher outside my house and not to a specific IP pool. This way, my ISP ensures that even if I get an IP address from a different ISP, I won't profit from it because bandwith is sent "physically" to my house and not "virtually" to an IP. Isn't that correct?

    ISP recognition

Yeah that was actually my mistake. Haven't tried a VPN so I didn't know. So basically, the cable that comes to my house is labeled and my ISP sends bandwith to that cable and not to my IP pool. In other words, if I change ISP then someone will come to my building and replace the old cable with a new one right ? And that's why I will have more/less bandwith, based on the ISP

    ISP recognition

What I mean is that my IP will change but the ISP name above the IP will not change. If I use VPN for a let's say German IP, my location and IP will change although I won't get a German ISP name. Right?

    ISP recognition

Although it will still stick with your ISP.

    ISP recognition

Does it mean that a house is limited to only 1 ISP ? Are these some "magical" cables that are recognizable by the speedtest? How does it actually work?
  22. I was taking some tests on speedtest.net and I was wondering how does the system identify my ISP. I mean, does each ISP "own" a field of IP Addresses and you can recognize them? If that's the case, what happens if I manually change my IP to another ISP IP address through my router settings? Will it mean that I'm an "illegal" client of the new ISP and therefore get more bandwith?
  23. Problem solved. Motherboard was destroyed.
