    The processor isn't good for todays standards and you'd find it sluggish, even googling something.

    I wouldn't go for that lol. Who ever installed El Captain on a Core 2 Duo is a dumbass. I'm not even sure how he got the system information up. i'd save the money and go for a more recent if you are planning to go Apple.

    I wouldn't know that since I haven't tried the III, but I do recommend the cheaper of the two since I can recommend it and it works flawlessly if you install it correctly. It was also SUPER quiet and an extra fan wouldn't make enough of a difference to justify the price.

    I have used the Twin Turbo II and it worked amazingly. it kept my 970 really cool. I'd go for it since it has the better value.

    Use the i5 if you don't want any bottleneck. That FX chip would kill your performance in game!

    Presonus has a great lineup of this kind of gear as well. The Audiobox USB is pretty widely used in the audio production world.
