    Well they didn't lead a lot unlike what I expected, compared to a year old Ryzen i have concerns of ADL in laptops. So power hungry even at PL1, that requires even more cooling and beefier VRMs. And probably RIP battery life.

    Actually it has 90-110W 3070MQ, but Acer decided to use total CPU+GPU power to control Dynamic Boost (see here). So when CPU load is high, goodbye GPU power. And no MUX. Acer don't even put the switch in their high end Helios 500, which is a desktop replacement laptop btw. So yeah. It's not bad (still have other positives like metal build, not too heavy etc), but there's not much changed from the 2019 model. OK model. (can refer to here) The 3060 is pretty decent. About the same performance with desktop 3060 due to slightly more CUDA cores. Only problem is it only has 6GB VRAM instead of 12GB. Nvidia loves cost cutting. FYI 3070M is similar to 3060Ti and 3080M is similar to 3070. Problem is there are too many laptop models out there with lower TGP and no MUX, so even more performance loss. Unfortunately with higher end GPUs consuming more and more power, I can only see the performance discrepancy getting worse. They should really reintroduce back the 'M' naming for mobile GPUs to stop scamming consumers, but they probably won't because...money.

    No. The only decent prebuilt is from Legion Towers (2020 or 2021 models), practical yet not too pricey

    To add on: You can change the APU reserved VRAM in BIOS when Hybrid mode is on, from 2GB to 512MB

    u still need a business laptop for that just for peace of mind anyway u should always take good care of ur laptop, instead of trashing it like the majority

    Doesn't help much actually especially in warmer climate. Just lift/raise the laptop will do For display you have to check on the specific model, all of them can have bad screens If durability is your main concern, sorry to say but you're looking at the wrong laptop. Should have bought business laptop without dGPU

    I found the same models, nvm Performance wise the G15 beats both models due to higher TGP+MUX (I only found the Intel based G15 5511), however you must use G mode (max fans) and lift/raise the laptop (since you stay in India, the hot climate doesn't help either) If you prefer cooler temps, pick either Helios 300 or Omen 15. Though u still need to manually increase fan speed since the auto fans are too slow. Also, both have lower GPU TGP (90-105W and 100W fixed respectively, vs 115-125W) and no MUX

    Proof? Helios 300 don't have thermal issue, just need to manually increase fan speed instead of using auto fans It's not that conservative compared to budget models like Nitro 5. Depends on region, they have the best aftersales in where I live. Which country you're in? Budget?

    partially yes, bcoz Asus don't even bother to put MUX even in their higher end models TUF line is really mediocre not only due to lower wattage GPU but also poor thermals can ask me in forum, it will be too much hassle to research yourself

    11400H can match 11400, or even slightly ahead since it's using actual 10nm not some 14nm backport shit (you can search for benchmarks). Same with 11800H vs 11700K 3060 laptop is actually on par with 3060 desktop, due to slightly more CUDA cores 11400H+3060 laptop can definitely match a 11400+3060 desktop provided it has 130W TGP for 3060, MUX and Gear 1 memory mode. However, that's not the case with the TUF bcoz it's Asux...
