    Once again Notebookcheck failed at testing Tongfang laptops. Forgot to enable Eluktroboost or don't know about it?

    If you want to do repaste: -make sure the laptop is shut down completely and disconnect from adapter/charger -disconnect battery cable -unscrew heatsink screws, take it out and clean it -clean the top of CPU&GPU die, apply new paste (Kryonaut, Mastergel Maker etc are good, avoid MX-4) - line method for CPU, dot method on CPU PCH, X method on GPU -screw back the heatsink

    The new AW m15 r3 and m17 r3 have good thermals, however I wouldn't recommend them due to soldered RAM and WIFI module. Other gaming laptops don't do that.

      Soldering everything is becoming a sad trend. I can't see this not becoming the norm for consumer devices in the next lustrum 😔 Business/enterprise devices could be spared, for now. But not for long. Waiting for Device/End-point as a Service to become a thing, starting with Microsoft and Windows 10...

    We're talking about 9750H here. The 0.2GHz can make a lot of difference in power consumption as Intel pushes to limits.

    Aida64 FPU yes. Realistic load no. Like I mentioned before, don't 100% recommend AMD laptops.

      @genexis_x I mean, if it's a 2 in 1 which can play games then sure.

       

      If it's got a terrible trackpad then sure, but otherwise don't really care.

      I want to see gaming laptops with upgradeable parts. Touchscreens are kinda second thought to me. I rarely use them on anything that isn't a low-power mobile device.

    You do know that it has optional high sRGB 60Hz/144Hz right. It will not. Just perform not as good. For Clevo NH5xAC/AD/AF it's best to use 3300X/3600/3700X.
