Not going to lie, I feel like 5800X is a bit too expensive. Saw some ppl complaining the price increase but to me it's fine since AMD are now leading, and Intel still selling expensive CPUs

I dont mind price increase overall, but the Ryzen 5 and 7 parts are too expensive compared to what the Ryzen 9s are being sold for. 5600X at $225 and 5800X at $350 would make more sense.

tbh I think AMD needs to release non X SKU for R5 and R7, with slightly lower prices

or they can just cut prices later

The top end skus make sense for a $50 increase, my problem is with the lower end skus getting the same price increase since percentage wise, it makes little sense. Unless the non x counterparts are significantly less, I don't see this selling nearly as well as zen 2.

we don't need AMD to sell the same prices as Zen 2, but cannot be too expensive either

to me R5 should be around $220-230 while R7 should be around $350-400

Hopefully AMD provides on those prices with the non-x skus since I was planning on grabbing an 8 core around christmas.
