Asus really messed up GPU thermal in most of their 10th gen ROG gaming laptops...LM on CPU is nice but...can't recommend.

Nearly all asus models seem to have a major downside in terms of thermals and they never really take the time to optimize for both cpu and gpu. ROG is just too popular for its own good and the engineering hasn't come a significantly long way for a while now. Basically if you want the best of 10th gen gaming laptops I'd say the ge66 is a no brainier at this point, with cheaper models filling in the space below.

GE66 is decent but nothing special especially for the price - MSI stuffs are expensive for no good reasons.

From what I've seen it's one of the only 10th gen models to support undervolting and has pretty good gpu thermals considering its size. Granted it is expensive, but not out of the realm of other 2070 laptops, the i7/2070 non-super combo is 1700 if memory serves correctly.

The undervolting support needs to be enabled in advanced BIOS. Meanwhile some brands don't need to do that to undervolt...

2.5kg range there are many decent yet cheaper 2070/2070S laptops
