Dell latest G5 5500 gaming laptop is using G3 3590/3500 chassis (same design, same motherboard, same cooling, comparing same specs - 1650Ti). Wow. I guess Dell really doesn't care about making laptops now.

 

Not to mention that they keep using cheapo SSDs (use SATA when everyone using NVMe, use cheap/DRAMless NVMe when everyone using mid range/high end NVMe).

 

Thermals? Not worth mentioning. Price? Not competitive.

    @caorage low expectation, since Dell isn't able to release a laptop with decent cooling for 2+years

    @PacketMan Latitude and Precision are still fine and competitive

    I guess it depends on country, also many people buy Latitude/Precision from Dell Outlet nowaday
