Know why the 3500U performs better than 8250U in this model (Flex 14 / C340-14API)? The 3500U is configured with 25W long power limit while the 8250U is configured with typical 15W. This will vary between laptop models. Also, I think the power consumption figure for 3500U is wrong.

 

And is this model good? Decent.

    Which Thinkpad? Power limits can be tuned with custom utility like Ryzen Controller, but it might not work in some models

    T495 has 25W slow limit and 22W STAPM, T495s also has 25W slow limit but 18W STAPM
