You might found out that I often recommend Legion Y540 recently. How good is it?

Cooling - (source from user) Under FPU+Heaven stress: 92-93C (PROCHOT 94C) and 75-76C respectively, 50w CPU and ~85w GPU (yes, not 80w) without thermal throttling. CPU undervolted but shouldn't be a factor (will still throttle to PL1 50W if not undervolted). Max fans enabled (26WW BIOS, performance mode) but only 50-52dBA according to Notebookcheck which isn't that loud tbh compared to other models. Ambient 25-27C. Should be able to improve temps with repaste (tested with stock paste). i7-9750H+2060 BTW.

MUX - full gaming performance without Optimus or 4-5 hrs battery life with Optimus

Price - priced quite cheap for its specs, often on sale, can customize

Build - plastic but doesn't feel cheap, just like Y530 (though 17 inch model has more chassis flex)

And other good things about Y530 (eg optional 144Hz, compact and not too heavy, good keyboard, decent audio etc)

(Not sponsored BTW, just my personal opinion)
