Putting AMD aside, but vulnerability issues suddenly make Intel CPUs without HT looks viable? (eg 9700/9700K, 9400/9500/9600/9600K)

The one most hurt is the 9900k among desktop CPUs tbh, Skylake-X have small market, Pentiums just dont sell when it comes to being cheap against Ryzen.

Hyper-Threading issues are only Kaby-Lake and older, Coffee Lake has hardware level fixes that allows you keeping HT so the i7 8700K or i9 9900K is still perfectly fine to keep it.

I do feel bad for i7 7700K owners though, didn't they get burn by Intel enough that now their CPU must be an i5 7600K...
