Porsche Design Book One vs Alternatives

If battery life isn't a concern, pretty much every tablet with KBL-R CPU is good Can try Latitude 5290 2-in-1. A bit pricey though. Surface Book is a good option but I don't like it due to longevity concern and no upgradability/servicing. Porsche Design is a bad tablet Are you OK with convertibles? This will open to a lot more options

New laptop upgrade project for IT

waste of money due to thermal and firmware limitations Many issues Mobile workstations - Thinkpad P52/P72, Zbook 15/17 G5, Precision 7530/7730 Or Clevo P750/P751/P775/P870 with 8700K from HIDevolution or ObsidianPC (or any other resellers that provide delid CPU)
  3. It's a TongFang GK5CN6Z. Cooling is surprisingly good despite thin chassis. Mechanical switches are made by TongFang (in house)

Is it okay to game on ultrabook?

That model doesn't have the best cooling

    Help with a new Laptop

Must it be new? Any links of online stores? Any preference on weight, battery life and display size?
  10. HP Omen 17 an101na HP Omen 15 dc0029na Dell G5 - with UHD panel, OKish keyboard Dell G3 17 - OK-good build quality, mediocre cooling, OKish keyboard Also consider TongFang barebones, though fan noise is a bit high (can be tuned) and the mechanical keys may be loud if they use Blue switch (in house switches, comes with Blue or Brown switch): 1. GK5CN6Z - PCSpecialist Recoil II (15/17 inch) or 3XS LG15 Vengeance Pro with 1060 2. GK5CN67 - CyberpowerPC Tracer III 15 Xtreme VR with 1060 and 144Hz panel Also Clevos: PA71ES-G - PCSpecialist Defiance V with 1060 (don't get 1070 model, runs too hot)
  11. Fun fact: Always do a repaste after opened up heatsink? I loosen the heatsink in my laptop and put it back in. Surprisingly, I got slightly improved temps. This is before repaste.

  12. I mean, any online stores that sell computers will do
