  1. I'm going for a neutral air flow. I think the exhaust are closest to vrm. the intake seems between system and vrm
  2. Thanks. Currently using the vrm for case fans, but I might try PCH. Temps are looking good though
  3. Just got some new case fans to replace my default ones (two intake, two exhaust) but the fan speed keeps spiking even when idle. Looking through the motherboard smart fan setting and was wandering what fan control use temperature input i should be using for each fan. Should mention I'm using the Noctua NH-U14s CPU cooler and the gigabyte aorus pro wifi mobo.
  4. Oh, so the CPU-Z is counting the speed of each RAM. Together it's 3400?
  5. Just got the Gigabyte Aorus pro wifi and I'm trying to set my memory speed to the advertised 3600. I have done the following: -Set X.M.P profile to profile 1 -XMP high frequency support is on auto -System memory multiplier is currently set to 34.00 -DRAM voltage is currently set to auto 1.200 v But CPU-Z shows my memory frequency is 1696.6 MHZ. Not sure what I'm doing wrong
  6. The GSX won't be able to drive the 990?
  7. Looking to get a new headphone to pair with my GSX 1000 and was wandering which to go for between the Sennheiser HD 599 and the Byerdynamic DT 990 80 Ohms.
  8. Cinebench reached a max temp of 80C RealBench 15 minute stress test hit 86C
  9. Huh didn't realize. My old CPU idled at around 30, but it was a 4 core CPU
  10. I can understand the spikes being normal, but the idle temp worries me.
  11. Idling at 40 is normal? I'm kind of scared to perform a stress test
  12. Have not overclocked yet. I'm using the noctua NH-U14s
  13. Just got the Ryzen 7 3800x and my idle temps are hovering between 40 and 50 degrees and randomly spikes when I open an application according to HWMonitor and AMD Ryzen master. Not sure what's going on
