Hello,
I'm somewhat new to joining this site but have been browsing around for little while, and with having just moved back to the US and left all of my consoles and tvs and pretty much everything behind i figured this is the perfect time to get back into PC gaming right?
I've seen most of the LTT videos and read several build guides, some good some not so, but none of them really sound like the PC I need.
This is going to be solely a gaming build, and I haven't set a solid budget on this project, however, I am not super rich and the cheaper I can build a solid rig the better. I'm not so much into things like COD or Doom ,more so into Skyrim, Civilization, and MMOs. I am certain that I am going to be running star citizen on this. I plan on running at 1080p for now, most likely multi display, and unless 4k screens come down in price dramatically very soon i'll probably stay at that res for some time.
Now as to why I'm posting this; this is my first build and everyone here is infinitely more experienced than I am so i wanted to get sort of a peer review of my plan. So far its just the core components.
All i'm looking for is a double check to make sure i'm not dumping my money into the wrong places. I.E. "Why the heck are you wasting that much money on an HDD?" or "You'll never use that much RAM with and can get away with half that," or "Star Citizen is never going to be done, now leave this place and never return heathen!"
I appreciate any suggestions really.
