I spent couple of hours on the weekends to re-do the loop to make it look more symmetrical.

SmashinMachine reacted to Capnspace in The Water Cooling Gallery
Just added another 1080 ti to the build known as "The Copper Creamery". Waiting for more LEDs to come in for the blocks and for the case but aside from that it is pretty much done. I would like to make a white acrylic mobo tray so that it looks even cleaner but havent had the time to disassemble everything to put a custom tray in. Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Had an idea for awhile about covering the tubing, wanted something a bit different.
Didnt turn out well as I rushed it like normal.

I finished my one year maintenance on my original Define C build and took the opportunity to make some inrpovements and to transplant the system into the Meshify C.
More details of the cleaning and rebuild are documented here for those that want to see blocks and stuff after 1 year of use.

What top rad do you have and how much ram clearance do you have between it and the fans ?

Thanks for the Pic. Doesn't look too bad with black fittings I guess.
Thanks for the assistance guys.

Yes only this extender with diameter 16,75 mm will work on top
In order to utilize the bottom recessed ports the use of EK-Extender G1/4 - Nickel extenders is mandatory! The extenders are not included! with EK Multiport
But 2 Pieces should come with Reservoir
Look at mine

This is what you need: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-extender-g1-4-nickel
Notice that the diameter is 16.75 mm compared to normal extenders that are 18.8 mm.

SmashinMachine reacted to NelizMastr in Is there a way to improve custom loop cooling?
The 9900K simply isn't a cool running CPU at any clock speed. At least if Intel put toothpaste under the IHS you could delid it for better temps. With solder, though, the risk is too great that you'll wreck the die.

SmashinMachine reacted to Limecat86 in The Water Cooling Gallery
My Asus X99-A motherboard died a week ago and is replaced with an Asus X99 Sabertooth. Not really much has changed on the loop except that I had to go back using my EK Supremacy EVO CPU block. Had to mount it with the logo upside down so I wouldn't have to switch the tubings going in the GPU on the bottomside.
Also, replaced the Thermatake Riing fans for Corsair's LL120 and a new color mixed from Mayhem's UV ice blue and a little bit of laser green.

SmashinMachine reacted to W-L in What are your pump/fan speeds?
I personally keep everything as low as possible for noise as I have an excess of rad space. My D5 pump is set to the lowest setting with the fans never going past 750RPM even under full load.
-
SmashinMachine reacted to Firewrath9 in Suggestion for a case that fits 420mm/60mm radiator top mount?
A 420mm rad is overkill. If you look at evga hybrids with a 120mm rad, they get 50c while running furmark etc. a 240 will prob drop that to 45c.
