You could check out the Keychron K4v2, which has a hot swappable option. For switches, you might want to check out nicer switches than Cherry MX Silent Reds. If you want silent linears, check out the Ghost switch, Silent Alpacas, Durock silent linears, Healios, and Box Silent Pink.

Everything outside of your house doesn't matter, all that matters for powerline adapters is that the wiring inside your house isn't junk.

No problem!  By Christmas time I imagine even all the stock that was on shelves at 3rd party retailers will have been swapped out for cards with additional thermal pads.  I would still contact the store (Like Newegg or whoever you end up buying from) to be sure, but EVGA has the best customer service out of just about every company I've ever dealt with, so if for some reason something isn't quite right with your card, they'll definitely fix it.

Echoing what everyone else said, the VRM is not an issue.  Gamers Nexus did an extremely thorough investigation, and released a final video on it today:

Get a monitor riser and put the ps4 under it.  Or if those monitors can be vesa mounted, get a dual monitor stand to save space.

Warranty may depend on the manufacturer, but I'd guess it starts from the day you purchase it in most cases.  Personally I'd set the money aside and buy all at once (which is what I'm doing for my new build), then you get full use out of your warranties.  And 4 months from now Kaby will be out along with a slew of new motherboards, and you'll know how well Zen stacks up.

If you're mostly doing gaming, I'd just go for the 6700k now, the difference won't be that great.  Heck, even an i5 works for gaming.  And for black friday/cyber monday, I don't think you'll see a huge price drop for the 6700k by itself (probably a bit of a discount though), but there will likely be some good bundle deals if you buy it with a cooler or motherboard.

Out of those two, definitely the i5. Without the gaming, you'd be more than fine with an i3.

TheStigsChineseCousin got a reaction from Jv2391 in Black friday ?
I'm in agreement, it's only a couple weeks out, you'll most likely end up saving something, even if it's not a huge amount.

As a standalone part I don't think you'll see much of a discount on the 6600k, possibly on the other parts but there's no way to know for sure until the sales are actually on.  For the cpu, I'm guessing the biggest discount you'll see will be a package deal with a motherboard or cooler.  At least in the US, the Black Friday sales tend to start much earlier than you'd think, and many places have sales that run through the entire month of November.  So if you wait all the way until the actual day, you may find many items out of stock.  I take Cyber Monday as more of a flash sale, and if you don't jump on stuff as soon as it goes on sale, you may lose out.  Basically, if you see something that is a decent discount on a Black Friday/November sale, pull the trigger.  It may be discounted a bit further on Cyber Monday, but chances are it won't be worth the risk of missing it entirely.

All cards being sold by EVGA as of 11/1/16 are now shipping with the pads pre-installed. If you buy from Newegg or anyone else, just head over to their website and ask for some free pads.

TheStigsChineseCousin reacted to Mira Yurizaki in Windows ISO Retail vs OEM
OEM ties the key to the motherboard meaning if you replace the motherboard, you're supposed to get a new key. Retail allows you to transfer the key to another computer.

    ISO wise, no difference.

This.  There's a good chance you won't damage anything without one, but I'd hate to kill a component due to carelessness.  Also, Paul's Hardware is doing a series on Youtube that's a beginner's guide to building a PC which is very informative, I'm sure there's something on LTT too.

The things that annoy me the most are loud/lengthy intros/starting the video with "YOOOOO WHATSUP GUYS" and asking for likes/subs at the beginning.  Asking for likes/dislikes/subs is ok, just do it at the end and phrase it so you'll get constructive criticism, something like "if you disliked the video, feel free to leave a comment telling me why, and what I could do differently."  And depending on your content, invest in a decent mic and/or camera.  If you're doing something like video games, a good mic is crucial.

One of the best things to do is just watch successful Youtubers with the same kind of content you'll be doing.  Obviously don't blatantly copy them and make sure you have your own style, but take note of what they do.  Clearly something worked, especially if they're making a living doing it.  Good luck!
