  1. 99% because of Icy Box HDD docking station. In HD tune everything is fine.
  2. Thank you all for advices. Today I connected drive again to docking station to check for HDD health. In Sea tools it says it is ok but if I start short test I got a message that it failed: Is that because it is connected to HDD docking station? In HD tune pro everything is fine: Those Interface errors in health tab are old errors because of the faulty sata cable. When I changed cable it stopped. That was long time ago when this HDD was connected inside my PC. Should I be worried because of SeaTools failed test?
  3. I have Icy Box docking station which is connected to my PC with USB cable and it also has its own power cable. There is also On/Off switch on the back. When I want remove HDD from docking station I always first remove it from Windows with safely remove option in lower right corner. After that I remove HDD from HDD docking station with my hands. In this case docking station is still on. Can this method cause any damage to my HDD (corrupt data) because it this case docking station is still on. Should I first unplug docking station USB cable, turn docking station switch to off and then remove HDD with my hands?
  4. NAPS2 seems like a program for scanner. What can he do with PDF files?
  5. Tryed it, +10dB option. Sound becomes disorted.
  6. What do you use to merge two PDF? To export pages from PDF? To print documents in PDF? I used PDF creator but it is bloatware now.
  7. When watching movie with headphones sound in MPC video player is not very loud. There is option to increase decibels. I set it to Gain + 10dB. For now sound seems louder but will this artifical increase in dB produce sound distortion on any level?
  8. Planning to buy this headset for black friday but need some clarification about some things. 1. Will it sound good on movies and electro house music? Bass level? 2. Can it be connected on PC through bluetooth? If yes that should prolonge battery life. BT connection is only mentioned for Android. My plan is to use wireless mode for gaming and BT for movies and music. 3. Only place I can connect it now is USB (A type) which is on my desk right now. Can I connect USB-C dongle to USB-C to USB-A adapter and then in hub? Will that create any problems? 4. Build quality and durability? 5. Is Steelseries software resource heavy?
  9. Couple of days ago I found my MP3 player which I hadn't used for more than one year. I connected it to my PC case for charging and I forgot about it. I remembered it after four days. Can that constant charging shorten the lifespan of battery?
  10. I will use it on Laptop so Photopea seems little unpractical but I will look into it. For Audicity opinions are divided: So I need both of them? They don't do the same thing?
  11. What are now best free alternatives compared to paid ones? I did a little research and these are results: For video: DaVinci Resolve 18 - Is this a stable program? I found couple of cases of constant crashing. For photo: GIMP or Darktable For audio: Audacity - version before it was aquired by Muse. Current version has spyware? Correct me if I am wrong...
  12. It was too hot to play something so I decided to test some overclock. I set my OC in BIOS and turned on stress test in Windows. I returned to my room after 4 hours and it was really hot, highest temperature in case was CPU - 87C. I noticed that back exhaust fan is blowing hot air directly into cables at the back of the case. Can that long exposure to heat damage cables?
