    Well no wonder...if you want your boot time to be faster then your OS should be on the SSD.

    I wouldn't worry about your pc breaking when moving it. I've moved my rig mutiple times in the back of a car and it all went fine. If you're moving with the bus your idea is fine. Altrough wrapping it isn't really necessary. But I recommend to move your whole pc in 1 time in the car. Your don't need to remove the heatsink.

    I've always just seat belted the tower into the passenger seat or pinched it between the front and back seat. just watch out for pot holes and shit, if you're super concerned fill it full of packing peanuts or something or lay it on it's back so the heatsink and GPU are pointing up.

    The S340 doesn't have slots for internal DVD drives. A part from that I'll let others give their input on the rest.

    Actually I'd say a pre-built is a better idea for such a new CPU and mobo. Any issues that may happen are on them - not you. No need to wait for lengthy RMAs.

    I really think this is the best way. Even non-geniusses can translate this into decimal numbers and it's short.

    If length is your concern, all 3 of those numbers fit in 4 bit nibbles. So you could just use 3 nibbles:
    14 04 13 1110 0100 1101

    You could also try with hexadecimals
    14/02/13 --> 31342f30322f3133
    Shouldn't it be 140213?

    This sounds rather strange, but you could do a barcode (wow, edgy, I know!) that, when scanned/read, translates to the date. a-la hitman (but not on the back of your head )

    Looks like a reasonable built except from the PSU. I'd get a 650W minimum, 80+ gold from EVGA or Seasonic.

    Nashiwa got a reaction from chris nguyuen in How do I setup my SSD and my HDD?
    1) You should put your OS and programs on the SSD. If your programs don't all fit there, you can install some of them on the HDD that's fine.
    2) Normally your SSD and HDD will not have the same size, so you can see which is which. Otherwise, you can rename them just to make sure.
    3) Something I did which helped me not screw up was to install only my SSD at first, install the OS then rename the SSD to "SSD drive", then I put the HDD in and renamed it too.

    I don't think so. Usually most programs don't install everything in the same foler, so you won't have a working game if you only copy the game folder.
