Ragnarok Online, even to this day I can still shed a tear when listening to some of the town background music.
Play official for 2 years and then private for 6 years.I think the game is still around but no I'm not going back.

Gaming on Linux is not perfect and will require a lot of tinkering. Unless you have games on Steam (though proton is still not perfect but usable).
Majority of my games doesn't requires a lot of tinkering.
Also you can add non-Steam game into Steam to use Proton.

I play 2 mmos on and off, ESO and Guild Wars 2. Neither are supported on Linux, but posts on their respective forums show they work. It is unlikely that either will ever go Linux native.
I want to try ESO for you but 125GB download...
Guild Wars 2 work fine for me especially after they migrated to Chromium many months ago. I even use ArcDPS + Reshade with no problem.
Maybe you can try Krita for photo editing and Kdenlive for video editing.
I'm on Manjaro Plasma Desktop. Select use Proprietary driver when booting so it will use/install official Nvidia driver out of the box.

eah, it looks like it is a BitLocker recovery key - still asks this before I can go into safe mode.
Yes. That's what bitlocker do.
If there's no important file in there, just format the whole drive and do clean window installation via USB installer. Resetting won't work. -

I thought I could skip the recovery step and just proceed with reformating since I was going to do it anyway but it's asking a recovery ID which we don't know. This is a 2nd hand laptop they bought from another friend.
What recovery ID? For Bitlocker?
If you're planning to reformat it then just proceed to deleting all partitions and recreate it. -
I'm skipping this one, not the Skyrim experience that I'm looking for.

the thing is, I want to test why my videos look so much better and more smooth at 60fps than on my 60 Hz monitor or at 60fps on a 170 Hz monitor; it's making me mad. its there a way to test it out??
Sorry I don't quite understand the issue.
60fps on 60hz monitor look much fluid/smoother compare to 60fps on 170hz? -
Try limit fps a fraction under Vsync instead of exactly 60fps.

Also it could be your monitor panel

What song are you listening to right now.
