  1. I tried the game and I get similar bad pop-ins. It's the game imo. Also I noticed the game default render scale is 50%, I need to set it manually to 100% to make it looks ok. The fences? I checked few WoW gameplay video and noticed the fences also pop-ins in those video.
  2. Oh wait, I thought you're using 7900 XTX. My bad. Yeah just use HEVC instead of AVC. 1080p? That should be good.
  3. Why not just use AV1? It's more efficient compare to the other 2. Any sample? What settings did you use?
  4. Look like you playing on low graphic settings with low render distance.
  5. AV1 and HEVC(H.265) is superior to AVC(H.264). H264 is super old. Yes AMD AVC is quite shite, you need quite higher bitrate to get on par with NVENC.
  6. Pop-ins is quite normal, game engine have limit on how far it can render, hence you get pop-ins.
  7. Just use AV1/HEVC on your 7900 XTX The encoder in 650 Ti and 710 is crappy by today standard.
  8. Only the most badass game boss get his own song. and this remix amplified the badass level. 2k next? Lets go!
  9. Would be great if you can zip the whole minidump folder and upload it here.
  10. Probably commit seppuku? https://www.pcgamer.com/an-error-in-samsungs-980-pro-firmware-is-causing-ssds-to-die-id-check-your-drive-right-now-tbh/
  11. Almost full guitar solo Also papa James still down picking like he owns it, at 60 yo.
  12. Worth it imo, It's around 45%-50% performance bump over 6600 at best unless you're bottleneck by CPU/RAM But how much will it cost you?

If the problem is with DX9 games, maybe you can try DXVK. https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk It will translate DX9 to Vulkan, maybe you'll get better performance or compatibility.

Standard rituals nowadays when dealing with Radeon driver problem in Windows Turn off MPO Turn off HAGS Turn off browser hardware acceleration (Chrome/Firefox/Steam/Discord/etc) Turn off Windows Update because it kept override AMD driver Make sure you system RAM is pyramid stable Use Linux Standard rituals dealing with AMD ATI driver back in the day
  15. Q1: Tomshardware - They have charts for few generations of GPU on both AMD and Nvidia. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html TechPowerUp - Every TechPowerUp GPU review have relative performance graph that include 2 generations of GPU, not all but a lot. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/?category=Graphics+Cards&manufacturer=&pp=25&order=date Q2: For VR I usually just refer Youtube. Babeltechreview is the only website that I notice consistently do VR benchmark. https://babeltechreviews.com/vr-value-wars-the-hellhound-6650-xt-rx-6700-xt-vs-the-rtx-3060-3060-ti/ https://babeltechreviews.com/first-look-at-arc-vr-performance/ https://babeltechreviews.com/hellhound-rx-7900-xtx-vs-rtx-4080-50-games-vr/
  16. I noticed a few weeks back someone had similar problem and he use the same mainboard as yours. Maybe a driver/service causing memory leak. From my past experienced is usually the LAN/WiFi driver/software. Did you install the driver from Asus website or you let Windows update automatically install everything?
  17. Waste of electricity, just use the encoder in your 2070. Also I think you need older driver for the Titan.
  18. Can you upload the benchmark text file? It's located in ../Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V/Benchmarks/
  19. Did you accidentally set 4xMSAA or 8xMSAA? Can you post your graphic settings?
  20. Frame gen caught them off guard imo, announcing FSR3 is like a panic move to me. Nvidia spent years prepping frame-gen in software and hardware.
