I know its been awhile but I wanted to close this post. My guess is probably the Drives died or a buggy BIOS (even though it was updated). I have a new PC now and no longer using IRST (nor will i ever will) Thanks for your help!

PC stuck on Shutting down/Restart Loop
Depthcharger replied to Depthcharger's topic in Troubleshooting
Well more like every time I tried opening up a game it either doesn't respond and when i tried opening up the same or different game same thing happens or it never pops up at all until a restart/reset. still I would managed to close the program with task manager np -
Hello and I need your help This started last year around August I believe after a Windows 10 update that SOMETIMES/Randomly my computer would not shut down / restart. It go to the shutdown/restart screen and keeps on looping but never shutting down no matter how long i wait. until I hit the reset button and shutting it down with success afterwards. The thing is I hate doing it and I have search and tried everything from disabling fast startup, power plans edit, update drivers or more windows updates, virus scans, uplugged usb connections, sfc/scannow, DISM, closing all programs via task manager, added AutoEndTask to registry. Still this happens and sometimes it happens if my pc were to slow down or have trouble opening a program. PLEASE HELP and Thanks PC specs: CPU AMD Ryzen 5900x Motherboard Aorus x570 Elite Bios F35 RAM Corsair Vengeance 64 GB GPU AMD MSI Armour 580x Case Thermaltake Overseer Storage WD BLACK 2TB SN850 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe WD Black 2TB PSU EVGA 1300 watt Display(s) ASUS VG278 1920x1080 144 Hz ASUS VE278 1920x1080 60Hz Cooling CORSAIR iCUE H100i Elite CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler Keyboard Logitech G710+ Mouse Logitech 403 Hero Gaming Mouse Sound Logitech 2.1 Speakers Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

I've build a new AMD PC and recently come across this problem where Windows thinks all or some HDD/SSD as a removable device and saw some places where you have to fiddle around with the Registry settings to make them 'Disappear'. BUT! There is another solution I've found. Go to the BIOS and look for SATA Configuration or settings. If Hot plug/SATA Port Hot Plug is enabled by default, Disable it. Save setting and restart and Problem solved. Hope this helps!

Either I've just noticed it recently or I started experiencing micro shutter or lag on my windows 7(Yes i still use it and it still works) desktop. I found out while watching a video using VLC/MPC HC/Youtube on any browser, shutter was caused by “wallpaper slideshow transition” because the lag or shutter was interval. If i were to leave it with one picture it would be okay. Gaming & audio is not effected. Only when watching videos. It also occurs when I right click on desktop and click on “next desktop background,” I did a lot of googling and tried every possible solution (command prompt, refresh windows, updated GPU AMD) still no improvements. This never happened before or just I've never noticed it until now but I'd like a fix please Please help me fix this and thanks

I just recently had this problem after a PC crash. When I'd want to Produce a video either SVRT, Quick Sync or even Hardware encoding would be grey out for Fast Rendering Technology with either resolution (mine was 1920x1080 but the rest were fine). I thought I'd share this with others since this fix was hard to find. I have Powerdirector 14 but I believe this can work for other versions Close Powerdirector Open regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE >CYBERLINK >CES_FUNCTIONLOGGER >DATA. CHANGE ANY THAT SHOWS 1 TO 0 Hope this helps! Reference: https://youtu.be/Zbe_9S4dC3U

Annoying Windows pop up when starting program
Depthcharger replied to Depthcharger's topic in Troubleshooting
Ok so i've tried something. I tried using a previous verison of the program and the pop up did not show up. So it is my believe its a software thing but how would I do a fresh refresh of the program. Like I already deleted all settings and folder(ProgramData) of it and reinstalling it once problem still happened. Or maybe i just have ot wait for the next update or something as it only pick on that program and version -

I don't think it's a disk problem more of a program problem -

So what happened was i was messing around with amd setting (set gpu to max frequency yea ik stupid) which cause the whole pc to crash. I pushed the reset button and now every time i start smart game booster program and leave it running this pop up shows up There is no disk in the drive. \Device\harddisk6\Dr6 program. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and this popup still appears. I have looked at other solutions but it shows only how to hide it and not really solve it. I like this program and i always use it and this never happened before please help and thanks
