I am a Graphic Designer and a 3D Generalist. This year I'll work in a new office and I need a laptop to work in mobility with my colleagues.
I use all CC Apps, Maya, 3Ds Max, Octane and other software. Yesterday, when we were trying to work on a new ADV brief, I realized that I was not able to write decently on my phone, to create a new ID document or to search information on the web and easily share them. Before that event I was searching for a Pro 3D Desktop workstation to replace my 8 Core Mac Pro and use Windows for 3D workflow.
I know that desktop are more powerful that laptop, I am a prosumer, I know this things but I need some suggest on which Brand Buy or model. I know that Laptop Pascal are very similar to their Desktop Brothers and that if you need more GPU power you can use an External GPU Case like the Razer Core.
I need a light and durable laptop with a quad core CPU, with the new Pascal GPU and a PCIe SSD with good Write/Read Speed.
I was looking the Razer Blade and the new 15" Alienware with 1070, 16Gb Ram and 512 PCIe SSD.
