  1. Doesn't have to be ANC, as long as outside sound doesn't leak in while listening to music or simply get's cancelled out. I'll check those out!
  2. So, my current phone is starting to give out after 4 years of use. And i have started looking for a new one. However, as most of you probably know going wireless headphones are becoming the norm. So when looking and choosing a new phone i've got to now i need to get myself some new earphones as well that i can use. As that is probably te most important thing i use my phone for - listening to music when being out or studying or what not. Along with it becoming time to get a new earphones as well as they have started to give out in some areas. Thus making choosing new earphones even harder. I am currently using Marshall Mode EQ, which i love and have loved using. And have been looking at new earphones overall and trying to see if i can get similiar quality sound. I have looked at both Raycon variants, something else by Marshall and Oneplus own earphones(getting a new oneplus phone thus that being a choise) but i can't really find any reviews/information that i find help me decide which ones to go for. I currently have a budget of 100-150€. I mostly listen to rock/metal and whatnot underneath those genres, along with increasing the sound of bass on my Mode EQ earphones as i enjoy the punches without it drowning out everything else in most songs along with drownging out most of the outside sounds What would you recommend along with why? Thank you for an help and recommendations you may provide.
  3. I've done some more digging and come to the conclusion that best case scenario i might get 1-2 fps extra. If it support quad channel over dual. Only difference i more than likely would notice is the latency, which there would also be 1-2% increase. Assuming both have the same CAL, which one can play around woth in bios on your owk if i remember. So i'll be going for 4x8 for the small gamble of maybe an extra fps in games. At the point where i'll be needing 64GB ram i'll probably be building a new PC all together or have the cash flow to just buy it without a worry. Thank you all for the answers and info, it got me to look in the right direction for my own digging. Case closed~
  4. That would make sense, i've looked at benchmarks comparing and tha avg fps seems to be rigjt around the same, a frame here and there. However that was an amd system. And with it being slower, it wouldn't really affect performance *that* much to the point of being noticible to the naked eye right? Hmm, well seems like the search goes on. But going for 2x16 does seems more enticing to be safe, however. I do still wonder, would the possible performance gain even be noticible to the naked eye comapared to a 4x8? I can see how maybe it is for editing, but for games where most things are already stored becomes kind of iffy. Maybe go for the 2x16 and maybe become mad and upgrade to 4x16 in the future for no good reason other than fun. Thank you both a lot, i will keep searching for a concrete set answer. If either of you for some reason find something more, i'll gladly read it. Til then!
  5. Basically, i'm looking to upgrade my ram to 32GB 3600Mhz from my weak 16GB 2666Mhz but unsure how i should go about it. What i use my pc for is anything from simply studying to gaming(and record), video editing and play with blender for fun. 16GB is simply not "enough" ram for my usage, as it is starting to peak during some games, mainly modded GTA V. But also getting close to peaking during some editing projects. And thus i got the smart idea to upgrade my ram, 32GB should be enough. I'll just get another set of what i already have... But thought of, why not go for 3600 for some more cream in most new games, it's not much more to spend, so worth it in my eyes. However, i'm not sure if i should be going for 2x16 sticks or 4x8. Money would become rather tight if i went for the 2x16, so i'm stuck with either wait another month or go for 2x8 at 3600 now and then another pair next month when i have money for it. However, i do also 'need' more ram, so i'm thinking of going for the 2x8 at 3600 now, use it with my curreny 2x8 and have them clocked at 2666 (if that works), then replace my 2666 pair with 3600 ones and have 4x8GB at 3600. But at this point, would performance be worse due to it being 4x8 instead of 2x16? Pc specs: CPU: I9-9900k Ram: 16GB at 2666 GPU: RTX 2080 Almost forgot to mention, aiming to game at 1080p with 90+ fps in the future. Maybe 1440p, gpu not feeling it in newer titles. Which i will upgrade at some point, either woth next gpu cards serie or if current prices goes down. Derp edit: money isn't an issue as the end goal is the same and would be fulfilled around the same time no matter which path is taken.
  6. Located in sweden atm and i could order from amazon but i prefer to support somewhat local and smaller businesses here. Mainly because they are cheaper but they are incredibly understanding when i need to return something compared to the bigger businesses. My main question before returning and going for the HD 569's, are they any good for gaming? When it comes to being precise of hearing where x enemies are and so on or are they 'worse' in that regard? Quite new when it comes to the differences between "gaming" and non gaming headphones.
  7. Looked at those two and is sadly not sold in any of the stores i trust. Probably should mention i do quite a bit of gaming. Do you have any other headsets / headphones within said price range you can recommend? I do have a stationary microphone setup so a mic is not needed but would be nice to have one just incase i was to travel away for a lan party. shitty or not really. I was looking a bit at the sennheiser HD 569 before but couldn't find much of it being used for gaming or how it is with surround as it seems to be mainly used for music listening. As that seems to be what it is mainly made for after all.
  8. Sadly leaning towards having to return the headset and get something else. Current Mobo is a MSI Z390 A pro. I would have gotten headphones and pair it with a external amp or dac sadly my budget isn't able to afford it. 150-175USD budget. And that is cutting it real short to make the month go around.
  9. Thing is, these are options not availabe using the dongle allowing me to access the software for their built in equalizer and support for DTS. It is available when connecting the headset through other means such as the 3.5 jack intead of through the dongle, but that removes the ability to use the software and DTS.
  10. So just bought said headset 2 days ago due to old one breaking and can't be asked to repair it a 4th time. However, i've noticed that the left right balance is completely off to the point i have to use the surround software on and torn down the entire right side quite a bit but even then i can't get a good balance. Not to mention that the center front channel is still... off to the right a bit. I know my old headset had some issues where it sometimes would only lower/increase the volume for just one of the channels which was possible to fix using the levels tab under the sound settings. Sadly that doesn't seem to be a possibility to do with this headset using the dongle using a USB port as the balance option is gone due to windows saying the headset only have one channel. While using the 3.5 jack allows me to change the balance without any issue. But i don't find any point to using this headset without the usb dongle as i might as well get another pair of headphones that is cheaper and almost equal sound quality. I've tested using a .exe file where i then use the cmd to force change balance but even using that i get back that the headset only have got 1 channel making it unable to change the balance. I have not even checked my ears and my left ear is just a small tad worse but nowhere near how bad the balance is. As with my bad ear and using the normal cable with 100:100 balance it sounds like a 95:100 balance. While with the dongle it becomes close to a 75:100 balance which is quite significant. Is there any sort of fix for this or some hidden firmware update or piece of code for the dongle i can change to unlock the channels so i can balance it out? Or am i completely out of luck and need to return this headset for another pair of another company/serie that have the same features or atleast let me change the balance (if it has any balance issues to begin with like this one)? I really love the headset, fits me well, the sound quality and isolation is amazing compared to my previous headset. There is nothing not to love for me personally. Except for well, the obvious issue i'm currently having. I have searched for this issue before and it was said that it wasn't a feature 10 months ago but couldn't find anything baout it since hence why i'm coming here to make this post. Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post but kind of desperate to get it working. Sorry for any miss spelling.
  11. I would have bought one if it wasn't for money being rather tight right now. Along with not knowing which mouse to get, been looking at g502 but the weight kind of concerns me as I don't know if I prefer a lighter or heavier mouse
  12. That could be it. If i conclude that that is the issue I rather just buy a new mouse all together as middle mouse button is starting to fail slightly.
  13. I will try to install synapse next. As i bought the mouse a few years back i can't really tell if it is a defect or not.
  14. This is a rather weird issue I'm having. Whenever I spin circles on a fixed point my physical mouse ends up on the right side of my mousepad. same issue if I make circles on the mousepad with my mouse the cursor slowly over times goes towards the left. I no idea why this is happening but it is bothering me a ton as I find myself quite often lifting my mouse while playing fps games in particular. Or heck, even worse when playing ARPG's like D3 or PoE. I've tried adjusting the polling rate for my mouse (using razer deathadder somethine from 2016) Made sure there is not mouse acceleration applied anywhere. Checked for driver updates and cleaned my mousepad along with made sure there is no debree in the small cavaity for the optical sensor. It has been bugging me a lot since I releaised it a few weeks back.. Edit 1: Reinstalled synapse and made sure to clean all the files and restarted my PC, no change in the behaviour. I would like to guess the inner sensor is dirty and would need to clean the inside. More than likely will wait a bit and get a new mouse when i can afford one.
  15. Seem like the only thing to do right now, just need to wait til monday. Not yet solved incase there might be someone that randomly comes with a random solution that magically solves it - doubt it but can always hope.
