  1. So, It's been awhile since I last built my last pc build and as you will see from the pics below I have sold most of my hardware. The question which I would like help with is whether it would be better to opt for a liquid cooler over an air cooler or vice versa in the situation I'm in. As you will see this is where I will place my future pc and what I have currently. The second to last photo Is how I will place it, but the last one is when I push it to the very corner of the cabinet (so you kind of get an idea of the space I'm working with). What configuration should I go with to maximize airflow, lower heating and make sure that it doesn't collect any dust or do any damage to hardware? The cabinet door has slits to allow some air into the cabinet. I feel that I should opt for a liquid because I feel an air cooler will starve the system from the air and cause overheating. It's been awhile and I won't be placing it out in the open like I did the last time I built a pc. Any help or input is appreciated, thank you for your time.
  2. Moving it is sadly, out of the question. My mom said she organized the cable and moving it will cause her more trouble. and as for a router I have this:https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-AC750-Wi-Fi-Gigabit-Router/dp/B00KFD0O0I/ref=sr_1_19?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1476590499&sr=1-19&keywords=netgear+router It's just that the router in on the other side of the house and my room is basically the farthest room from it.
  3. Thanks for the advice. But, yeh, I barely get wi-fi from my room and that's why i'm reluctant to go wireless.
  4. Is it like buying a wi-fi extender and connecting it to the ethernet port on the device or is it something else? sorry I have no clue on what powerline is >.<
  5. I currently am wired and I want to take my pc up to my room. However, the internet cannot reach there and the only option I have is to go wireless. But, I fell like if I go wireless my internet will get slower and also another thing is that i barely get wi-fi from my room.
  6. Thanks for the help and advice guys i really appreciate it
  7. I personally Like the NZXT s340 since they look simplistic and mad clean, but according to what you wanted with an optional optical bay the s340 won't support that. I suggest the Phanteks enthoo pro M because it partially keeps that clean look that i like with the s340 but with support for an optical drive. To be entirely honest though, you come up with what you like in a case and go from there. We won't know what you'd like in your case and if i recommend something their is a chance that you may not like that type of look.If you like futuristic looking stuff you could go for a NZXT pahntom 530 or if you want something that looks good but is minimal in it's outer I highly recommend the s340. But what I'm trying to get at, is at the end of the day it all comes to personal preference.
  8. I bought a phantom 820 for a build, however my dad bought me the nzxt s340 as a gift. After I built my pc in the s340 case, I tried to return the phantom 820 but i couldn't. So what i need to know is where can I sell a brand new phantom 820? I tried craigslist but it's been 3 months and no one wants to buy it. Any type of help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time and help!
