What did investors expect??? The price of AMD stocks went all the way up with Ryzen's release and now is stablizing around the 10 USD value. I'd expect a small boost in price around Vega release at this point... But lets not forget that it's avarage value in January was about 2 USD!

Lithium ion/polymer batteries generally reach thermal runaway much quicker than say nickel metal hydride, but I'm starting to wonder how much effort has been put into trying to implement a temperature sensor to limit current effectively to prevent it like how it can be done with nimh with hobby grade chargers.

Also, no mention on whether the phone was also charging while already baking in the car (you wanna bake something, just wrap some insulating material around it and leave it sealed in a car in Australia), but it would be a fair bet that it was. That would only be compounded by the phone also dealing with a more than basic workload, like searching for wireless carrier signal, downloading/installing updates or some other task heavy application etc.
