    SSD's are great all around but then you get those speed demon snobs who are like, huehuehue I boot up in 2 seconds, your 10-15 second boot up is for peasants. 
    10-15 seconds for a complete boot up isn't even that bad. Some people just have no patience lol. 
     
    To OP: your life will change with an ssd

    480 while having less performance by a margin i say 5-10 fps difference 1060 is more expensive 50-60$
    Your choice if spending that extra 60$ is worth the performance

    I agree maybe used will serve you good, its just I like buying Bnew laptops i wouldnt want to take risk if it have defects or something, well we all have different preference

    havent really compared those 2 cards yet since its that awkward card in the middle of the budget 460 and the better pwrformance 480 lol

    100% RAID 5 or RAID 10. With enough drives they're nearly the same speed. And you can loose a drive or two. Either way back up to an external hard drive. Couldn't you just get a decent ssd? How much space do you need here?

    It really is that simple.  If you are serious about preserving data, don't RAID.  Use fast single drives and back those up with other methods.  
     
    Don't get me wrong, I use RAID 0 myself, but not for anything that I can't afford to lose.

    So it looks like another major DDOS attack is happening. This time it's causing multiple sites to be down by attacking a public DNS service.
     
     
     
    It looks like it's affecting some ISP's more than others.
     
    These attacks are getting crazy
