  1. Thank you for your help, I'll get on ordering that immediately
  2. I had a parts list made and I had ordered everything, and everything one by one started showing up, everything but the motherboard. I have all the parts to my PC in my bedroom but the motherboard never showed up. We repeatedly tried to re-order it but it kept cancelling itself and the motherboard is now discontinued and hard to find in new condition. I just need help to find a motherboard that works with the rest of the parts list I already have in a pile by my bed: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Qfc6V6 Thank you for your help and patience as I've never built a computer before and I had a lot of help making this list from people on this forum so I thought I might as well come back as this is the most helpful place I've found.
  3. I made a parts list for my first computer ever and already ordered almost all of it. I went to order the last thing, the motherboard, and realized that it was discontinued. Now I need help finding a cheap-ish motherboard that is compatible with this parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kookoobooty27/saved/ZK4V6h. Please help me and send me updated lists with a motherboard I can actually get.
  4. So I don't have to add the cooler on top of there? I'll add the ram but I know nothing about overclocking. I don't think I'll have to do that though for my purposes. Thanks!
  5. Just finished working on what I believe will be my first ever pc at around $600. I'm going to mainly using it for gaming and youtube and I don't have a computer right now. This will be my first one and the parts list is here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kookoobooty27/saved/ZK4V6h Please tell me anything that could make this cheaper or better within the same price range. Thank you.
  6. I want to build a pc that is around $400, though I am willing to go more for better performance. I am going to mainly use this for gaming, internet browsing, and the occasional live stream. I will need one monitor, and both a mouse and keyboard. Other than that, please send some lists my way, preferably using pcpartpicker.com. Try to keep it near $400 please but I will pay up to $600 if it means a large boost in performance. Thank you.
  7. Looking at what I have seen, I believe I am going to skip on the vr at the moment until I have saved up more of my own money. With that out of the way, I still want to play games like gta5 and csgo and such.
  8. Okay so I have been wanting to get a gaming pc for a while and have made many parts lists before but they are all too expensive. I want a parts list that is $400 USD or less but can still run games like gta 5, battlefield 5, and some vr like beat saber or pavlov. I only plan on using one monitor and would love 1080 p. My current parts list is https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kookoobooty27/saved/rRXbvK but I want to eventually upgrade to https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kookoobooty27/saved/4Bm8dC. Please help me lower the price while dropping as little performance as possible, though I am flexible on that price and those specs. Thank you.
  9. I am having trouble figuring out which build is better since black friday is right around the corner. The build I originally had planned is here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kookoobooty27/saved/rRXbvK But I recently came in contact with a video with a two parts lists that I screenshotted and added to the post. I just can't figure out which is better for what I want. That being gaming, recording, animating, and editing. I have no room in my budget so changes won't help, just help me decide. I will switch to air cooling and I don't know if that will affect it, but I will. Either way, thanks for your time and help.
  10. I'm building my first pc ever and got this build a couple months ago. I haven't started ordering anything yet because I need to hear some other thoughts on it. I'm going to be using this for gaming as well as animating and rendering videos for YouTube. I just need to know a few things like what isn't recommended to buy used? As well as what I can cut down in cost that won't cut down much in performance? The link to it is here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Kookoobooty27/saved/rRXbvK. Tell me what you think.
  11. Thank you very much for your help on this. I will be looking into the X99 build. One thing though, on the part picker site it says that some Intel X99 chipset motherboards may need a Bios update prior to using Broadwell-E CPUs, do I need to worry about this at all or am I ok with this specific board?
  12. I don't exactly have a budget but a liquid cooling unit would be great and a DVD reader/writer. Also I would need to throw in a mechanical keyboard, a 4K monitor, and Steel Series rival 300 gaming mouse. Thank you guys so much this is extremely helpful! This is an edit, the monitor is really expensive when 4K me not realizing that is asking to see if you could find a 4K monitor that is cheap but not used, that would be amazing if not cheaper than around 600 then do a 1440p instead. Thank you.
  13. This is exactly what I'm looking for that you very much. Could you come up with the specks for me, I would be insanely grateful if you could.
  14. Oh, I'm overclocking. The thing is that this is the first thing that I thought of, you guys are mentioning stuff I haven't even started to think of yet, should I be focussing on something else first?
