Rock04 reacted to Zando_ in SFF Mobo advice please
Alrighty. I just Googled it and found that out. You'll need to look for a Z270 mITX mobo then. Just put all your components into PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/, and then pick a Z270 mobo that fits in your case.

Rock04 reacted to Dabombinable in FX Build Overkill? Wait till Cheap Ryzen 5?
An FX 9590 lags behind my older-by-5-years Xeon X5450 single threaded......when I have it overclocked to only 4GHz

Rock04 reacted to Arcanekitten in i3 7100 or i5 7500
I agree with @david cassar on this one, just wait for ryzen 5 and then see.
Ryzen 5/3 might cause a intel price drop and or plain better cpu's.
Also why compare a i5 with a i3? They aren't really comparable since one costs a 100 more than the other.

Rock04 got a reaction from Xanthe_2871 in First Build. Opinions & Advice pls
Great looking build, I would invest in a 16 gig ram kit. Plenty on sale for 30€ more you placed a heavy investment

Rock04 got a reaction from PDPdrummer805 in "The Broad Street Bully" - LTT & Hardline Build Log
I think he is referring to the Philadelphia Flyers, the best all time hockey team

Rock04 reacted to Energycore in Should I add extra fans or change out stock
Huh, I tried to DIY it and it seems that $380 is a good price for that system. That i5 is good for some heavy gaming
I wouldn't trust that 240W PSU with a graphics card of any kind however (cheap FSP, no PFC, ew). Upgrade it for $25
