Build Plan Thread Recommendations (Please read before posting)
Nikz Jon replied to a topic in New Builds and Planning
1. 1060 will work great. 2. Use www.kinguin.net for windows oem. i always use that. its soo cheap. 3. If you were using a intel 7th gen or higher, Intel optane would help you great with the storage read and write speed significantly since there is no ssd. 4 If you are sticking to amd, get a 120 or 256gb ssd as boot disk. All the best for your build. -

Nikz Jon posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Hi there I am looking for a device that can connect all the devices below and switch between PC and Mac without any Ethernet connection. So with single Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor, both computers can be managed. Please let me know if anyone know any such device. -

Nikz Jon replied to Mauricio G. B.'s topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
NVMe is totally different league. its 4-6 times faster than SSD in SATA3 port. It worth using it was primary storage. -

budget Which is better price to performance 1050 or 1050ti?
Nikz Jon replied to CGFrog's topic in Graphics Cards
Definitely 1050Ti since it have good performance to cost ratio. -
Hi, I want to upgrade my storage setup without reinstalling my windows. I have a 250GB nvme ssd as primary storage. Then I have a 4x 500GB HDDs in RAID10. Now my primary disk is getting filled with programs. I have 2x 500GB Samsung 850 EVO ssd with me. My plan is to clone program files in to those SSDs as RAID0 and mount it as a folder (Program files) inside C Drive. So that anything installed in program files wont affect my NVMe drive. I wanna know if someone have tried this? Or is there a better idea? Help me out plz. Thanks

try running following, For GPU stress test, use any one of the following: http://www.geeks3d.com/20150710/msi-kombustor-v3-5-2-64-bit-v2-6-0-32-bit-download-gpu-stress-test-benchmark/ http://www.geeks3d.com/20170502/furmark-1-19-gpu-burner-stress-test-opengl-benchmark/ You can see temperature graph and see where it caps.

Chances are it is a defected item or I suspected. The card's airflow is not good at all. Try contacting your seller. They might replace it for you. I am not sure though.
