    Did you try to overclock it? I had the same problem with my 6700K because i had set the cpu voltage to auto and it was giving out 1.45v at 4.5Ghz

    You should consider getting a chromebook... they are pretty cheap and powerful enough for schoolwork and youtube/netflix... and also if your school is using google for education you get free unlimited storage space

    What does the starter pack have that the normal one doesn't have? if it's just a screwdriver and a 2,5 to 3,5 drive adapter then you don't need the starter pack...

    You sure the gpu isn't dead... try another graphics card or the onboard video (if it has that)

    you should start from the base clockand add +5 or 10 mhz core clock and keep adding 5 or 10 until it crashes... then back the overclock down to the last stable clock and stress test it for +12h. if it crashes during the stress test try lowering the oc or adding +5 or 10 to the voltage
