  1. I used a metal tweezer as you recommended and it makes contact. As for now I will get a can of contact cleaner and see if that would work, since I dont see any small cracks in the solder joint on any of the problem keys. If this ends up not working I will try to re flow before replacing the switches. I do have a heat gun, but i have no idea how long I should heat the back of the PCB. Also, is aliexpress the cheapest way to buy mechanical switches?
  2. It is an old Razer blackwidow 2014 that I hadnt been using it for a while. Now, i must admit that it was stored for a few years in a humid room. Also tried their software Synapse but no luck. Some guy recomended me to clean it with contact cleaner or make an RC circuit to solve the multi click issue, but I havent a single clue how to do that.
  3. Hey, I got an old mechanical keyboard that Im planing on using it, but it has been acting weird. Most of the keys are working fine, but some of them are messed up. Few of them need to be pressed hard in order to register the character or when they are slightly pressed the keyboard registers double or multiple clicks or in some cases it doesnt register anything, EXCEPT when Im testing the individual key with a multimeter for continuity and thats when finally the key starts working again. Now I am asking for your sugestions what I could possibly do to fix it. Thank you!
  4. Heya, I got a Asus MX279h monitor and 1 week ago fine gray horizontal parallel lines appeared on the left half of the monitor. They are more pronounced on the edge of the monitor, and tend to disappear towards the middle of the screen. I must mention that prior to this issue (2 or 3weeks ), I hit the monitor on the top left, not in the panel but on the top frame/basel. I spent hours trying to find if someone has had similar issue and how it could be fixed. EDIT: I tried using different cables and connections, I even changed the GPU with a different one, but the problem is still persisting. I am also attaching a photo of the issue: https://imgur.com/a/HGoGh7M Thank you!
  5. Aircooling all day long. you cant go wrong with noctua d15 or thermalright silver arrow extreme. AIO is okey but it is louder and it can fail. like mine did when the warranty is over
  6. i changed it 2 days ago with arctic silver 5 and the ambient temp is ~25 and you are right the temp of TMPIN3 is pretty okey but im concerning because is fluctuating fast from 33 idle to 45 while im web browsing, even when im starting skype or speedfan it goes to 45-50.
  7. yep, plus if you want a silence pc you MUST go air and thanks for the link.
  8. im planing in buying a noctua D15 or thermalright silver arrow extreme
  9. im starting to hate the H80i to be honest, it starts to make a noise from the pump, now when the warranty is over ... I will NEVER recomend a water system to anyone. For me the air cooler is still the KING.
  10. yep, you are right, went to h80i from evo 212 and made no difference.
