Hi there,
Would like some advice on if a budget DAC like the Fiio E10K would make any difference compared to my onboard audio solution (Asus Maximus IX Formula)
Thinking of getting a Superlux HD330 as I quite like how it sounds, although I'm open to suggestions on alternatives too.
My question stems from the fact that my rig is to my right and on the table, which I would then have to plug the headphones to the front panel, which in turn isn't that feasible due to the cable stretching across my neck from that position. Is there any ideal solution to route the jack someplace else for example under the table?
Which in turn comes back to if getting a DAC would be beneficial, as I could velcro it under my table and route a micro usb through it. But if there's a cheaper solution I'm definitely taking that
I'm considering on the headphones being the HD330 and the DAC the Fiio E10K, but I'm open to suggestions on if there are better choices without being too much over budget. As for speakers I'm running the Acoustic Energy Aego M, if there's a benefit to routing it through a DAC do enlighten me too, as I'm not too familiar with audio solutions, only through self research.
