  1. Settings......what ever settings optimal and nominal for 4K video rendering for weddings and sweet 15's and girls with guns music videos. Nothing major. However some are large files, like 30 minutes each of 4K. For instance when they cut the cake, when they throw the bouquet in the air, etc....small segments small bursts of videos but none of them are more then 30 minutes long. But there are numerous videos of course each at 30minutes max.
  2. LOL.....Ghettofabulous! LOL. I'm running just a basic software nothing special....Sony Vegas Pro but for 4k video.
  3. AMD Server question: Does anyone know if this server has the potential or enough juice inside to become a 4K rendering farm? Its an: HP Proliant DL165 G7 server- 2x 12 core AMD Opteron 6172, 48GB DDR3, 1TB HDD (24 cores total t 2.1ghz) Here is the link on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/322338783798?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It has a lot of cores and two processors inside. Even has a PCI-16x half slot for a small GPU like a 4k Fire Pro 2100 or 4100 card. If anyone knows about servers please let me know. Its for a "beyond belief strict budget crisis" I personally love Xeons a lot more but this is for a budget crisis situation lol. Just need to know if it will at least "handle" 4K video editing. Do not even mind if its slower as long as it can handle the load of 4k files being edited. http://www.ebay.com/itm/322338783798?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  4. I think I agree.....they would not sell so many to so many people if it was not any good. I do have Sony Cameras and they are superb I love them......we just been scared to put them out in rugged places doing rugged things lol. I think we will go with the Go Pro indeed.
  5. I'm selling my old HD water cams and going to invest in a 4K Go Pro. Also is there no other alternative to a 4k underwater cam except a Go Pro? I know there are hundreds of underwater cameras out on the market now a days, but everyone says that none compare to a Go Pro 4K. We have a Go Pro 3 now but its not 4K. We need to upgrade.
  6. What is the "best or fastest" CPU for 4K video editing and rendering for an X99 mobo and 2011 V3 platform?
