The issue you're having is a motherboard one, as it needs a compatible BIOS.

I don't remember directly without re-watching other videos which board you are using.
There are some ASUS LGA-2011 (/-3) compatible motherboards, and some ASRock ones with a special BIOS as well.

Brian from Tech Yes City uses brake cleaner, as have I, with good results. YMMV. toothpicks are good for scraping out corners without damaging traces. Just use a gentle touch.

It's cloud storage provided by partner for my work and projects with transfer speed limited by my local/server PC (at least by my research on 500/50 ethernet)..

EDIT: "TrueGod" is just a name i choose for it.

So close! Idk how many times ive given up on GPU's. Just a shot in the dark, but try to start wiping in a clean area and move to the edge of the card kinda surrounding the problem area. Change cotton swab/Q-tip a lot.

    Hard life of perfekcionist.

Like if there's an effective way which could i even use on my clear wallmount PC project then it could be helpful in many situations to be able to 100% clean it..

Keep it clean, never let it get dirty. Compressed air in a can everyday. Best thing i can think of.

Umm mount it vertically (just hides your problem area)

Or put it in a compleatlly air tight system with a HEPA filter

Shoot, all those are preventative. Hmm...Acetone...a bit extreme, might melt some of the plastic's????

    I think ... im out of idea's.

And what does that translate to in English?

Google Translate says the first one is "Cotton sticks" (lol... technically accurate though), and the second one as "Earplugs for cleaning", which is super hilarious.

Ahhh the joys of things that translate weirdly from one language to another.

These are primarily for miners. If you use this you will be limited to PCIe gen 1 speeds which will cripple your GPU for gaming. Mining doesn't need gen 3 bandwidth which is why miners use these to connect several cards.

    Thanks all opinions.

Its meant to be overkill without needed GPU upgrade so i don't care about price that much, but i agree that Titan Z is bad idea.

...? Not sure what you are talking about but with potential power i mean things like pixel fillrate...
And even that isn't exactly useful for a 1:1 comparison but because a 1080 and titan XP are very similar design wise it's quite comparable.

Also you can't mix and match gpu's... 1080's only work together with 1080's and titan XP's only work with titan XP's.
And both cards also need the same amount of VRAM.

Sadly, it's more complex than that.
Every game handles a multi-gpu different, some games handle it well and some games handle it like sh*t.

So a 2x GTX 1080 has the potential to beat a titan XP, but sadly not every game will use such setup to its full potential and won't beat the titan XP.
If you just want to pop in a card and don't want to worry about it, get a titan XP.
If you are prepared to mess with the setup from time to time if you want to play games, you can get the 2x 1080, but keep in mind the 2nd 1080 will do nothing in some games and some games might require some tweaks to get working.

If I may, there are some rumors (normally rumors are rumors, but rumors about GPU this year have been accurate) about the 1080ti going out in Q1 2017 so don't even think about the Titan XP, unless you plan to do something else than gaming on that PC.

It depends on what you currently have, but I would wait for the 1080ti in SLI. If you can't wait, go for 1080 in SLI, it should keep its value better than the Titan XP when the Ti gets released.

KostWarCZE reacted to minibois in High-end GPU performance
2 GTX 1080 cards will perform the best, unless the game doesn't support SLI in that case Titan X Pascal will be the fastest.
