  1. Hey everyone,

I'm currently looking at some black Friday deals. Especially in the networking department, since my current router isn't powerful enough to cover my whole house.
Right now I'm looking at 2 options the MK63 and M9, I'm not quite sure what differences are between them since there are not a lot of reviews about the MK63. Right now the MK63 got priced from 300 to 240 (euros) which is great since it fits in my budget of around 300-350 euros. For the M9 there are unfortunately no deals at the moment (still 300 euros).

Is it worth to pay the 60~ more for the M9?

  2. Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice for a new charger. I’ve gotten the usb-c to lightning cable but I haven’t got an (usb-c) fast charger. But I’m a little concerned about what is best for my phone, especially the battery.

Im looking at an belkin charger which has usb-a 12W and usb-c 27W or the original Apple usb-c with 18W.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    greetings Frosty

  3. Hey everyone,

I’m planning for a new gaming PC for around 600 euros. The only thing I wanna do is play games like Fortnite on epic and 60fps and sometimes I play games like rainbow, apex legends and ark.

I live in the Netherlands and would love some help on components!

Eh, I still feel for streaming you should get a 2700/x. The motherboards are cheaper as well.

I'd also still advise to upgrade your ram to something faster.

I know this is the US PCPP, (Used this because inventory for Netherlands pcpp seems off) but the prices should be around your budget if I estimated right.

Unfortunately these components are so much cheaper in the USA right now you are 200+ over the budget. ?

Edit: you still got the 2133 ram

That gpu upgrade is pretty redundant, don't look at anything below a 1070, 590 or 2060

Look at getting a 2700x or waiting for the 3000 chips from AMD. They'll do better for streaming

Though, I'd upgrade your ram too, 2100 is pretty slow for today, and especially so for Ryzen processors.

I added the wrong GPU in the first build my bad! ? I looked into making a ryzen 2700x build but that doesn't fit in my budget at the moment. Since I'm also upgrading the case etc.

And yes I'll be waiting for the 3000 chips for my main PC. (If they are any good)

  6. Hey there!

So (once again) I'm upgrading a pc again. And I'm in need of some thoughts or other recomendations!

    I'm moving this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GN9q29

    To this:

I'll be using it for gaming and streaming, this is pretty much the max of my budget (600 euro's). But I'll be looking into upgrading my GPU in the near future!

What do you guys think of this build?

The 240L is probably overkill and not very quiet.

If you want something black / white, the Phantom is good: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/887311/gelid-solutions-phantom.html

There's also a version with white fan frames: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/887315/gelid-solutions-phantom-black.html

If you want RGB, the Hyper 212 RGB BE is pretty hard to go wrong with: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/1268895/cooler-master-hyper-212-rgb-black-edition.html

I think I’ll go with the hyper 212, thanks a lot!

Any of them would work. If you're aiming for a certain aesthetic, go for whichever looks best to you.

The Gammaxx GTE is pretty well priced atm: https://www.alternate.nl/Deepcool/Deepcool-Gammaxx-GTE-cpu-koeler/html/product/1506439?lk=9344

If you want something quieter, the Ashura is a great alternative: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/284706/scythe-ashura.html

I was going for a black and white system with some “cool” rgb lighting.

The deepcool looks pretty good but it’s nowhere to be found, since no one has it in stock......

What do you think of the cooler master 240L option?

What cpu, ram, and case are you using? Are you oc'ing?

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

    I7 7800, HyperX fury ddr4 2133mhz, nzxt h500, no OC

Located in the Netherlands, budget is around the 70€

  10. Hey guys!

I am looking for a "budget" cpu cooling with prefferably RGB.

This are some models I'm currently looking at:

    Coolermaster MasterLiquid ML240L (RGB)

    BeQuiet! Dark Rock 4

    Cooler Master Hyper 212 (Black)

I would prefer a rgb cooling system ?

    What do you guys think?

  11. Hey everyone!

I am looking to upgarde my system because I want to get some better frames in AAA games and I'm planning on streaming.

I was thinking about a Ryzen 2700X or a i7 8700..... What do you guys think?

But it can. Whether a fan can be controlled depends on the header you plug the fan into and not the fan itself.

The motherboard only has 2 fan headers which you should be using if you want any fan control. What headers did you plug each fan into?

If you're not sure what case fans you have, post some photos of them.

    Alright dumb me!

    I got it working!

Are you referring to the stock case fan? It should have a 3pin fan connector and can be controlled through the motherboard's sys_fan header.

Are you using any aftermarket fans?

The stock cooler that came with the case is not controllable. I have 2 fans in front but no clue what brand whatsoever, it’s from AliExpress so I can’t expect much.

On my CPU I use the stock cooler

That wasn't late at all. This is a forum and not a live chat so it's pretty normal for replies to take a day or so.

    What are your specs?

Am my bad didn’t read that question.

    I currently have:

    Thermal take h15

    i5 6500

    gigabyte H110M-S2H

    16gb ddr4 2133mhz

    1060 6gb

    cx550m

    Note:

I am looking in to upgrading to an Ryzen 7 2700X with a 450m motherboard and 3000mhz ram. So I’ll probably do this in a few months!

What are your specs? Have you tried lowering fan speeds?

    Sorry for the late response.

on my cheap ass fans it’s not possible to change the speed. :D

  16. Hi there,

just bought the AT2020 microphone but what I already expected, happened.

My case fans are far too loud

Anyone has some good recommendations for silent 2x 120MM fans which aren’t that expensive?

    Thanks!
