  1. well lets start with my set up : Intel core i7 4790k stock speed MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB, 2 x 8GB DDR3-1600 MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti Gaming X Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM, Crucial BX100 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive for operating system EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze NZXT S340 ATX Mid Tower Case (black and yellow for some strange reason) so I started gaming on my TV with little knowledge about PC gaming, after a while I decided to get me a monitor, I was looking to get the regular set up you know; a nice desk, double monitor and lots of led, but I hated those "gaming" chairs, at least to me they are not comfy at all, so I decided why not to stay on the couch? and started working on the whole living room. Got one of those coffee tables that the top lifts from Walmart, mounted the monitor there some painting, and decorations so far this is where I'm going this is how it was at the beginning added some painting and yes I did it during the night (I was working a lot of hours there was no other chance ) TV mounted to the wall; nice 4k display but not good for shooters, Upgrading to that 1080ti and finally getting the monitor Monitor; Dell S2716DG 27" 1440p 144hz played like this for some time until I decided to hide the monitor got a matching controller Time to hide that monitor something simple some paint Now you see it Now you don't so this is my living room so far I'm still missing just a couple of things something; to replace that TV stand and be able to place the PC as a center piece, plus display the one or two consoles I've played through my life (NES. SNES. PlayStation1&2 XBOX andXBOX360) just for the nostalgia. I'm working on that and the mouse pad to cover the table top where I keep the keyboard and mouse. so far this are the changes I've made I'll keep posting any changes thanks for readings and if anyone has any comments I'll be glad to read them.
  2. I can tell( just saw your displays ) thank I'll check some reviews

  4. man I'm a Pipe fitter, and to be honest the one time I was playing (working) around boats, I noticed how easy you can get hurt there, plus a heart attack wasn't like the most helpful thing around the story, welcome to the forums and to the #PcMasterRace, anyway I can tell you that most of the people around here will hep you every time you need, don't be afraid to ask, they have done that for me, just like you I didn't know anything about this whole new world and the more you know the more you want to build, your actual Pc seems pretty good. welcome again I hope to read from you soon.
  5. so what I had to do was deleting the drivers of my wireless network card, so the error stopped appearing. I'm just trying to keep this thread updated in case somebody goes through the same problem, I can't play any games today but I'll try tomorrow, and see if that solved the problem, thanks for the help

  11. Hi everyone, well it's been more than a couple of times that the pc has shut down by itself, everything goes off but the led light around the power button, that stays on blinking, so I try to turn it on again and lights go on but I have no signal on the screen, so I keep the power button press until it shuts down and then turn it on again This happened when I was on facebook, first time I was using chrome, I read that chrome could be the issue so I uninstalled it, this time was while using Firefox, and it did it more than once, the pc freezes for a lilbit before shutting down, and then just goes off, I'll upload a video of what happens once it shuts down Solutions I've tried already: Looked for a bios update (but I'm up to date) Update gpu drives My specs Cpu i7 4790k Gpu 1080 ti Psu evga 600b 80 Plus bronze 16 gb ddr3 crucial ballistix (x2 8gb) 120 .ssd with the OS Windows 10 Thanks in advance for the help let me know if you need more info
  12. I had the same question some time ago, and my advice for you is; First, what type of games are you looking to play, fps, story mode,? Second, are you a casual gamer? Or are you looking to take your gaming in to a serious stage? Third, if you have a chance to try a high refresh monitor try it and see what makes you feel more comfortable. I'm my own experience I stayed with the Tv, cause after 12hrs of work I find more comfortable sitting in my couch, than those gaming chairs, yes I tried a whole set up at a friend's house desk and chair, but I play for fun only, so to me a high refresh monitor is not that necessary, now I had luck with my Tv, cause I bought it without any research (black friday specials) and it gives me 60hz, 10 ms response time, and it feels like a pretty decent gaming experience, my Tv is Vizio P02ui 60" I'll leave a video of me playing that's Gears of war 4 @1440p high settings you can see on the right lower corner how I get those constant 60fps, card is a gtx 970 from msi with a core i7 4790k everything running at stock speeds, if you check my channel the cs,go videos are from a friend whose playing on a 120hz monitor with the same hardware I don't know if you can see the difference
