  1. Got the gpu a couple of days ago, and there are no problems. The gpu works perfectly fine and their is no change in fan speed. I do have to say though, the gaming performance has improved so much. Thanks guys for helping me!!
  2. Can a 240w run a gtx 1050 low profile? I got a hp compaq 8200 elite sff pc from school for free and i was wondering if the gtx 1050 low profile below would be able to run on a 240w psu. gtx 1050 low profile: https://www.umart.com.au/Gigabyte-GeForce-GTX-1050-OC-2GB-Low-Profile_38224G.html#os_canshu The pc has some weirdly designed power supply, so i would not be able to upgrade it. Thanks, Bigloldog01.
  3. Ok thanks. One problem though, the psu is a 240w and I am not sure if there is a graphics card that i can put in
  4. Need advice. Can i put a graphics card in this PC and if i can not, how can i?
  5. Hey, I am here to seek advice on whether I should get a i5 7600k or a Ryzen 5 1600x. The purpose of the PC build will be to do some light content creation, streaming (possibly), editing and gaming (majority of the time). I also will be getting a Asus GeFore GTX 1070 and 16g of kingston ddr4 ram (Not yet sure about the motherboard). Thanks, Bigloldog01
  6. Thanks all for helping!! Much appreciated!!

  10. Hey there, I am seeking help. I have an oldish computer that I have wanted to sort of upgrade. Here are the specs: CPU: Core2 Quad Q8200 2.33ghz Motherboard: LGA 755 RAM: 2g x 2 of ddr2 GPU: NVidia GeForce 9500gt PSU: 300w - 400w (Guessing) Storage: 2 x 500g HDD As you see here, it is about 7-9 years old. I have been wanting to buy a different graphics card for it, so I will be able to play basic games well, but I can not decide what to buy. I am not wanting to spend an insane amount of money on it and I want a graphics card that is not too power hungry or will be suitable for the PSU I have listed above. I have been looking at gt 710, but not sure. PLEASE HELP!!! Bigloldog01
