  1. I don't think so, but this appears to be the manual for it. https://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socka/m1647/a7a266/a7a266-104.pdf
  2. Stuff from my childhood Some of this stuff I don't even remember what is what. Or what I used them in.
  3. I have it figured out. Feel pretty dumb that I didn't think of the OS being a limitation on the memory capacity. I changed that and everything is normal now.
  4. I did give this a try, but it had no effect. To run some legacy games it's still on windows 7 64 bit sp1
  5. This does not seem right. Can't say I've done anything to this only by changing memory to higher density. z170a gaming pro carbon supports this amount and speed of 3600OC 7600K supports this amount. 4 sticks of 16GB vengeance lpx (not much different than the previous memory - 4 sticks of 8GB vengeance lpx) Not using onboard graphics, just two 970's I've done searching around but most of the "fixes" don't appear to actually root cause this or do some edits in registry or msconfig. I doubt its actually windows doing this, but my bios reports the full amount. Wish I knew debugging for stuff like this, but I am only a network engineer. Any Idea's?
  6. Native on my network I run a poweredge running pfsense with gigbit internet. 700-800mbps range Nativity my PS4 always complains about the connection not being good enough so it kicks me off stream games. I got so tired of this I decided to try a VPN for the traffic. So it cut my speed about half as expected, and it actually kept me playing for hours verse 10-5 minutes. I still have moments of quality issue but it will jump back quickly. What puzzles me is why this works on the VPN as a nat type 3, but not my native connection as a nat type 2. Thoughts?
  7. I am coming across a problem that seems to be different with each android I test. When connecting to a wifi hotspot that has captive portal enabled I will get white display screen with only connectivitycheck.gstatic.com showing. This is on a razor gaming phone. On a Samsung S8+ it gets to the portal page, but does not go to the redirect website that its supposed to after accepting. On a pixel 3 it operates how its supposed to. So I am kinda confused on this since the browser version's match. Could I be missing something I have not thought of?
  8. It's not so much a huge problem as pointed out earlier, but if someone is using VOIP phones that can sure be a huge problem. In this kind of a situation the only way for a perfect outcome is for you to have full control over the connections. meaning no additional routers. For security of data VLANs could be setup with a managed switch to help keep each other off of other files. Could have different private IP ranges in that case. Otherwise I can't think of anything else at this time with my skill level.
  9. Its possible that its not the modem or anything related to you. from my experience something that seems to go out randomly like this points to the data lines coming in from the street (or where ever its coming in) something either got pulled on or something dug up that's causing the wire to disconnect. I'd check that if possible.
  10. I don't believe it would be something related to too many clients going through it. I would not put it past that though if its a few years old and its breaking which can happen. This is a hard one. I guess it would be helpful to know what linksys this is so that its tech specs can be looked up.
  11. Yes. Computer on the network. The issue has now been passed to someone else so it's not my issue anymore, but I'd love to figure out for the future if it's still relevant.
  12. Yea that is off. That's the first thing I always look for
  13. This is going to be weird. The network has internet, that much is clear. This polycom phone has a IP address, but its not getting a internet connection. current router is a arris modem. Is there something I may be missing perhaps that is preventing this phone from having a internet connection?
  14. It is a odd issue yes. Ifixit should have a repair guide I'd hope. These newer ish phones make it so difficult to open at times.
  15. I may have to consider that. It's funny since it's still usable. It can be difficult to see the words sometimes. A screen shot doesn't show any issues. So it's like the blue is on top of the screen since I can still see colors normally under the blue.
