Hey, I have read on many sites that AMD gpu's does not offer variable refresh rate on gsync displays.
Today I was very surprised to see that my new MSI RX6900XT Gaming X Trio works with my Acer Predator X35 display.
It says that FreeSync is supported in the Radeon software and when I am testing on that old windmill FreeSync demo it actually works.
How can this happen?
Also when I check my monitor info it says it is in gsync mode when freesync is activated in the radeon software
If you don't believe in me I can try to upload a video to show it working.
Maybe this is due to it being a G Sync Ultimate display instead of a regular G Sync display?
I am very confused about this situation because it is definitely not a placebo because I can very clearly see the screen tearing on that red moving bar in the demo dissappear and the motion is much smoother on the windmill too with FreeSync on.
