  1. Just saw this on youtube and havent heard anything about this before, might be remembering something i heard on the WAN show about new things coming to premium and i guess this might be it
  2. ok, thanks price difference for me here for some reason was only like 100$ so going with the higher end cpu i think unless i find some deal somewhere
  3. Budget (including currency): 10,000SEK or around 1000$, can go higher for good reasons Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming with a focus on strategy and management games, which will include the new cities skylines. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My gpu is a 3080, and i dont need anything else for the system. My cpu is running behind, currently an old 6700k, so for an upgrade of that i will need to upgrade the motherboard, which to not hamper me in the future kinda makes me need to upgrade it to DDR5 so i need to upgrade my RAM as well. Reason for asking here is that i know NOTHING about AMD their offerings and find their naming confusing as hell so no idea what to even look at there and when it comes to cpu i dont really feel the need for the newest stuff as my 6700k has lasted me this long(top of the line when i bought it). Dont care if its AMD or Intel just whats good for my use case and price to performance, Thanks for the help CPU: ? Mobo:(as long as i know the socket i can find one, unless someone has a recommendation)
  4. Country: Sweden So im looking to do a mobo and cpu upgrade, and i find myself looking at if its worth going to DDR5, since that means getting new ram for 250$ or more and a increased cost for the mobo by 150$. my currently build already has 32gb corsair Platinums DDR4 which i could just reuse to save money. My use case is gaming, and will be running a 12th gen i5 and a RTX 3080
  5. new tech device is fun and new.. thats about it and from what iv read/watched the mini is the full iphone 13 just smaller screen and battery
  6. i use it for music and youtube at work for about 9 hours a day, so its a daily full drain and recharge i think caused it, its still fine most days, coming home at around 14-20% most days
  7. well i usually always buy unlocked as well, currently using a One plus 7 pro, so with a contract i would be paying like 10-15€ more a month than i do now, and i dont need a new phone the one i have works fine, getting a bit low on the battery after these years but otherwise great, its more because i like new tech, also smaller phone is nice used to do Sony´s small phones in the past.
  8. My contract is soon ending and iv always been anti apple and their closed system, but im not even really using more than phone and bluetooth headphones anyhow.. Now the bad bad thoughts im having is picking a Iphone 13 Mini as my next phone.. should I? and are there any problems im not seeing? iv never had any apple products. My reason for this is simply ONE thing, it looks so damn sexy :P
  9. maybe one of sony´s compact phones? iv used one until i just upgraded and i really liked it, being a bit smaller made it fit in my hand great, and it has all those other things you look for as well
  10. probably better and possibly cheaper to just get a usb dac then, since they seem to have 3.5mm connector as well
  11. ok, first, optical sucks for high quality audio. No second needed
  12. ok yea curved glass is a bit annoying, but for me the most important thing for getting the 7t was not having a hole in my screen. oh and the speed is real, its amazing!
  13. if you start seeing massive slowdowns in the games that you dont think you should, there might be something wrong with the cards cooling, but if you get the fps then everything is fine
  14. yea, sounds normal while running heavy games
  15. ok, can only be the mouse then, since cs go doesnt have any hidden accel settings like some other games. I mean you can buy a better mouse, and if it wasn't the problem, return it for a refund Ask around here or go look up RocketJumpNinja on YouTube, easily one of the best mouse reviewers around.
  16. most stands cant do more than 1 that size and than maybe some 24" ones on the sides, like mine, i got my 34", then 1 24" on the side and one above and another at the other side if i want to. But really look at the foot of the stand and the length on the mount, my stand only says it works with 24" monitors
  17. yea, sounds like mouse acceleration, also look at your windows mouse settings and look and make sure mouse precision is off. also google mouse fix and download and run that if you want, it goes into the registry to turn off mouse acceleration on a much deeper level than window settings at least used to. Also adding that laser mice and cheaper mice has built in mouse acceleration and precision that cause such things.
  18. Ok will wait, just kinda annoying playing some games when it clicks away conversations :P I think my mouse is only about 2-2,5 years old and i can hear that there is some kind of rattle around the left click. But it being this old might mean i have to get a new one, just wanted to ask them first really since its still one of their most expensive ones.
  19. Its been 6 days since i sent in a support ticket to Logitech after my G900 Spectrum started to get even worse with its double click issue and since then i have sent in updated posts twice to them and still no answer back, really didn't think this would happen with Logitech, always felt that their support was good Not sure what steps i could take to try and get their attention, its a really expensive mouse so cant just go and buy another. Any Ideas?
  20. A online store here just dropped the price on the Asus PG348Q by 34% making it really cheap, so im sitting here with my finger on the buy button thinking.. will HDR come on one of these soon or not? there are HDR monitors on the way as seen on CES 2017 but will it come to these types and at prices that are sane?
  21. missing features i really like and looking at what i can find here(Sweden) very few are much cheaper than the Z34, about 100-150$ tops. and that one isnt 4k but 1080, the rest costs the same or more, there is a BenQ XR3501 for about 200$ less than the z34 with 98% adobe rgb as its only really selling point i guess.
  22. So, i had a Acer Predator x34 4k g-sync ultrawide, but it broke during a move... Now im feeling like have need to get something similar again, but there are others on the market and im also not sure about getting another with 4k, my pc runs games at 4k with good graphics without much problems (thanks to my 1080) but there are some ofcourse. There are 2 im currently looking at that and those are Acer Predator Z35 and the Asus ROG. The Asus ROG costs nearly 400$ more for 4k, 1 less inch of screen and worse contrast and lower refresh rate, tho 100hz is MORE than enough for the few competitive games i play Just not sure the 4k is worth it, and a VA panel does have much better blacks which would be very nice Another thing iv been thinking about is the fact that HDR should be coming soon which makes me want to wait, but if they wont come until the end of this year id rather have the Z35 and enjoy that and have it as a second monitor in the future, but if its just a month or 2 its worth the wait imo. For possible other ideas, What the monitor HAS to have is: G-Sync Ultrawide 34+ inches
  23. normally yes, got a 4 monitor setup, including a 4k monitor, will be setting pagefile to 1gb, but i still found it strange and wanted to see if anyone maybe knew why its happening
  24. yea, everywhere i look i see the 32gb of ram, i mean its not really slowing down my games i think, but i just find it strange that a freshly rebooted computer after starting a game has 9gb of pagefile filled when there are tons of ram left dont really want my computer to write constantly to my SSD
