  1. So, I am going to receive Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 and I am going to make a review but I have a question first. Am I able to use any O-Ring modification for Cherry MX to make the keyboard more "silent"? It has the new (Greetech) Razer Green Switches that came out with Blackwidow 2016, but I am not sure that the particular o-rings I want are compatible. Here are the specs of the dampeners I want to buy: Hardness: 50A Shore Material: EPDM External diameter: 8.0 mm Inner diameter: 4.8 mm Thickness: 1.6 mm Quantity: 125 pieces
  2. It's not scare quotes, at my country, it means I have help from person inside.. From someone who already live in Canada.
  3. Not much I can say to you, but all will be done with a little "help".
  4. That sounds a bit racist... I don't think I can work at Canada legally without a work visa either way..
  5. Well, I am planning to stay alone 1 year, and then brother and girlfriend will come too. So not big matters about that. Maybe Montreal is a better place to live? Should I plan Montreal as a moving place?
  6. Well, 10% is what turbo boost gives... And it's a long way from 436 to 550.
  7. In the last video of LMG, which compares i3-7350k to a i5-7400 (downgraded i7-7700k) I found a mistake:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn_E_pI9GeY In this video, i3-7350k is clocked at 5Ghz and they have a downgraded i7-7700k to i5-7400 (I assume it's running with "turbo boost" at 3.5Ghz for single thread and 3Ghz or higher for multi thread).. In single thread, the result is 196 Cb for the i3 and for the i5 it is 151 Cb. In multi thread, the result is 528 Cb for the i3 and for the i5 it is 436 Cb. And here comes the problem. The assumed frequency I take for i5-7400 at multi thread is 3.0Ghz, which means 85.71% of 3.5Ghz, resulting in 151 x 4 x 85.71% = ~518. That doesn't make sense, it comes with conflict with the video right? Especially since the Cb score of i5-7400@Anandtech is 554 (probably turbo boost is running the i5-7400 a bit higher than stock frequency, around 3.2 to 3.2Ghz): http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/1029 And some other source about Multi Thread score rating the Cb multithreading to 563: http://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/cpu_benchmark-cinebench_r15_multi_core-8 And the score of i5-6400 is about 490-530 at different sites: http://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/cpu-intel_core_i5_6400-527 http://www.trustedreviews.com/intel-core-i5-6400-review-benchmarks-page-2 http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/71760-intel-skylake-i5-6500-i5-6400-i3-6100-review-4.html http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/core-i5-6400-cpu-review/6/ This means that either LMG did a mistake, either editing at video, or at the downgrade of i7-7700k, or the i7-7400 is slower than its predecessor (which comes in conflict with anadtech result and other sources)! I am waiting for Linus or some Admininstrator to answer to both me, but also to any other who watched his video, and clear the issue. This is a big mistake, if done by LMG, and should be addressed with a good fix and fast.
  8. Everything is planned, and preparations are being made. I know their economy, and how Canada works, and I want to go there. I have thought about London, but no, I don't want to go there. I don't want to stay inside Europe anymore.
  9. OMG GREAT KEYBOARD. It wrote cada. ._.
  10. So, I asked a few months ago, some information about Canada because I was thinking moving there from Greece: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/659619-moving-to-canada/ Now, I am almost ready and prepared to do the big move! The place I chose is Toronto, and I will move in a few months. I need some information about Toronto though, and because I am tech geek, I need to know Internet Speeds there, as well if there is a PC Hardware Search Engine, so I can find the cheapest new hardware I want. We have one here at Greece which we call Skroutz, and it's API connected to many online stores. That's what I need. I know about PC Part Picker, but I am interested more in this search engine so I can find smartphones/laptops/gadgets etc. I also want you to tell me about ISPs in Canada, I found one called "Beanfield" which gives Fiber Optic up to 500Mbps, unlimited data in Ohio for 75$ US (~100 CAD). Is it a good ISP? I will surely need unlimited data, especially since I leave my family/girlfriend back here, to Skype with them. Also, high-speeds will be a dream for me. Average speed in Greece is 8Mbps, but I have 12Mbps. Lastly, can you confirm me that IT Technicians start salary is about 2500 CAD, rents are at 500-1000 CAD including utility, and life cost for 1 person is less than 2000 CAD? I don't care about going out or vacations, since I will be alone there, I will just be spending huge about of times on my PC. I know I ask much about tech, and I should ask more about life, but already know about that. And also, because at Greece I am creator of a community with 30k people only about tech, with Site/YT Channel, I will need to continue doing my hobby too (in Greece, finding sponsors is very hard). Thank you all in advance. Please no huge answers.
  11. Thank you for your answer. There are job seek offices here at Greece, and I also know people who are already in Canada. My godfather is actually going to come, and has very good friend due to his job (he has trained world-wide champions at Taekwondo). This means, finding a job is easy, and the business who hires pays the transfer costs and guarantees to the government for me so I can get a visa very fast!
  12. Hi to all members, I didn't know where to post this, so I just chose off-topic. So, I am 20 year old, living in Greece, and I just finished my time in army. I am thinking of moving to another country due to economic crisis (no jobs... seriously NOTHING), and I have a High School Degree as a Computer Technician (System, Network and Application Support), and I ended up choosing Canada (we call them "Professional High Schools" where you take a Degree at a Specialty you choose). I am thinking of moving to Toronto, so I am asking: 1) What's the average salary of a Computer Technician or equivalent job? 2) What's the cost of living at Canada for 1 person? I mean, rent, utilities, internet provider cost etc. 3) Are there job offers there? Please don't tell me stay at Greece, we have 30% unemployment, and around 80% at my age. I wouldn't ask you if I wanted to stay. Waiting for your answers guys!
