It's 120hz with black frame insertion.  It's not true 240 hz.
Also it's a panel lottery, because the FG2421 is using parts that didn't pass QA for their much more expensive satellite panel (the $4,000 panel). So getting one with decent quality and not excessive cross hatching or gamma/color defects is a pretty big lottery.  IF you can get a pristine panel or one that is decent, it's a pretty nice panel.
 
The 2430T is a more solid pick overall.  And you are not limited to 120hz (I think the FG2421 can actually strobe as low as 105hz but I know it can NOT do 100hz single strobe; that was tested already by chief blur buster).  The 2430T (ignore the 2420T typo--that's a MUCH older panel--oops) (and all of Benq's blur reduction monitors before the XL2730Z--its full capabilities are still unknown as of the new firmware that just came ou tfor it) can single strobe from 60hz to 144 hz in 1 hz increments with VT tweaks (76hz is unstable with VT tweaks).

30T is much better. VG248QE is comparable to XL2411Z, just like the price dictates. 
XL2430T is the newest panel and it comes calibrated very close to sRGB out of the box. About as good as TN monitors get.

ASUS VG248QE, Acer GN246HL. Both are 144hz but the ASUS one is a bit more expensive

I have a dell venue 8 pro 5830 I got it used with a broken screen and replaced it for 50$ it's great due to the fact that it has windows 8.1 and a Intel atom quad core witch makes it use 10% of its battery over one and a half hours when doing light tasks like Microsoft word, I have a Bluetooth keyboard that's on the case and I love it.

Anyway, if it's for gaming and movies a surround set would probably be better than a set of 2.0 speakers. Something like a Logitech Z623 would probably suffice.

Depends on the games you play. Sure you can with CS:GO or something but not with Dying Light
